Cherkasy (Ukrainian: Черка́си, pronounced [tʃɛrˈkɑsɪ]; Polish: Czerkasy), or Cherkassy (Russian: Черка́ссы [tɕɪrˈkasɨ]), is a city in central Ukraine. It is the capital of the Cherkasy Oblast (province), as well as the administrative center of the surrounding Cherkasky Raion (district) within the oblast. The city itself is also designated as its own separate raion within the oblast. It is not to be confused with the Russian city of Cherkassk which is on the Don River to the east.

I've lived in Prague for 2 years. I know Czech food. This is a mix of Ukrainian, Georgian and other Eastern European menus.. I've eaten here 5 times since February. The meat is good. Its well prepared and tasty. Soups, salads were all good. Service can be slow if you order food. But the food portion size is good. A nice selection of beer and spirits. Good atmosphere for groups for friends and colleagues to go.

You can take a taxi there in case you cannot find it, it is down the hill towards the river. The building is decorated to look traditional, the decoration inside is as if they took everything Ukrainian and threw it into one place but as a visitor, I kind of liked it. Had the salo and the potato pancakes, affordable yummy, a bit too oily. Had an English menu and was fairly cheap. Would recommend.

Visited this place to have some afternoon snack. The restaurant has an amazing ambience with great food. Ordered Latte Macchiato but unfortunately the restaurant ran out of Cocoa so I had to take regular Latte. The server offered us a dessert which was recently launched by the restaurant and it was amazing. Don't know the name in Ukrainian but in English, it is called apricot trifle with Ice cream. I believe it is a seasonal dessert, so it may not be available in a few weeks time. Also tried their Napoleon cake, which was amazing and done perfectly. Their apple strudel needs a little improvement. It was tasty but could be done much better. Overall experience was amazing. Ambience 10/10 and food (desserts) 8/10. I would definitely visit them again to have a proper meal.

cute institution almost in the city Center. plus - quickly prepare and serve meals. but the following dish brought without waiting while we finish the first meal. the usual steaks, not the most delicious. average cooked. taste on 4-. and a very small table for very large plates. good new Zealand's wine, but it is not merit restaurants). and there are some interesting supply of cocktails and some dishesas a whole not restaurant, and snack bar for youth ... have a bite you can.

I had lunch here while I was in Cherkasy. It is located just outside of the park, and is a nice stop after a good afternoon of walking in the park. I had pork shashlik, chicken soup and potatoes. Everything was very tasty, the service was excellent and the atmosphere was quiet, and comfortable. I will return when I go back to Cherkasy.

Think pub, not your sweet English village pub but Beefeater or Harvester or maybe even America trying to be English. It you don't mind that, you might enjoy this experience. The food is good so close your eyes and enjoy the show.
