Cherkasy (Ukrainian: Черка́си, pronounced [tʃɛrˈkɑsɪ]; Polish: Czerkasy), or Cherkassy (Russian: Черка́ссы [tɕɪrˈkasɨ]), is a city in central Ukraine. It is the capital of the Cherkasy Oblast (province), as well as the administrative center of the surrounding Cherkasky Raion (district) within the oblast. The city itself is also designated as its own separate raion within the oblast. It is not to be confused with the Russian city of Cherkassk which is on the Don River to the east.

I came here by myself, and had a very nice dinner. I was given a menu in Russian/Ukrainian, thankfully I know enough to decide a menu. I had tea to drink, it was presented beautifully, in a heavy pot.
I ordered two rolls, both of which looked and tasted good. They also came out relatively quickly.
The service was good, and friendly.

Very nice place! Come here with your kid and sit at the down floor! It is designed as Chicago gangsters style. Very recommended for kids. They will have fun and the food is excellent!

What a nice restaurant in Cherkasy. We went there on a normal weekday and it was nearly completly full. Luckily we had a reservation . The staff was very swift and the menu great. The interior was nice in typical farmstyle , in a homely athmosphere ,the were lot of place outside in small separated pavillons all occupied. Even live music and dancing in a separate room.
We had a great meal and memorable evening there and sure would like to go back. Remember to book in advance.

You can take a taxi there in case you cannot find it, it is down the hill towards the river. The building is decorated to look traditional, the decoration inside is as if they took everything Ukrainian and threw it into one place but as a visitor, I kind of liked it. Had the salo and the potato pancakes, affordable yummy, a bit too oily. Had an English menu and was fairly cheap. Would recommend.

If you want to taste Ukraine national kitchen, then try this place. Good design of the place, good service, reasonable price is all about this restaurant. I liked the place, but I have feeling that one time will be enough. But I recommend the place for the feeling the Ukrainian national taste.

Think pub, not your sweet English village pub but Beefeater or Harvester or maybe even America trying to be English. It you don't mind that, you might enjoy this experience. The food is good so close your eyes and enjoy the show.

Place is with nice atmosphere and staff.place to chill to drink coffee to chitchat with friends and get some nice cakes. The only thing is missing in this cafe its tradition for this place delicious eclairs ;)

Can say ... Not bad, good price.
Service: But waitress wasn't polite and she didn't smile at all.
I asked her if we can have a seat and she didn't say a word?!?!?! What was that?

I ate here to celebrate with work colleagues, the food was AMAZING, however the service was a little slow, and the food arrived at really strange times.
There was a good selection and the atmosphere in the resturant was lovely. However they were not really busy and even the drinks were really slow. Some people's food did not arrive until everyone else had finished their meals - which I thought was not great.
However everyone was really polite and I would definately come back for the food! :)

The chocolate at this place is awesome! I go everytime I go to Ukraine. I love the chocolate melted drinks and always bring stuff home for my friends. I would highly recommend this place to anyone!
