Letâs start with the good.The good was the food. It was really tasty, would definitely recommend the food and would go back to eat again. The downside was the service. We were given the wrong menu, and the person serving us insinuated that it was our fault that we had that menu. After a chat with the manager, it was decided that the menu given to us mistakenly would be honoured which was incredibly nice of them and we thanked them for it. Unfortunately the attitude of the server didnât get much better, a smile would have been nice, but we didnât get one. It would also have been nice to have had our dessert served a bit quicker. My boyfriend is diabetic and had injected prior to the meal so the wait did start to put him in a bit of a predicament. We did ask a waitress where our desserts were and the gentleman interrupted her, to say it would be two minutes. Unfortunately it wasnât, I have a feeling we had been forgotten about as the restaurant was by no means heaving. We left feeling guilty that we didnât leave a tip as we tip everywhere we go and the food was lovely, but because of the service, we didnât feel it was justified this time and itâs disappointing to feel that way. Overall would go back for the food, but not the service.Thank you for giving your time to give us some feedback. We welcome this as it gives us the opportunity to see where we can improve for the future. We treated ourself to lunch and decided on pizza, Bella Italia was our choice.We were greeted by a lovely lady Magda.She was attentive and very professionalThe childrenâs meal was fab starter, main dessert and s drink for £7 .Me and the hubby had pizza and pasta it was amazing.We all had dessert.The only negative is we were left slightly too long to wait I.e once we had been seated and given a menu and once we had finished.It was bearable today but their were only 3 tables I donât know what it would be like in an evening with a full house.We will definitely be coming back thank you it was amazing.FYI the toilets were immaculate #fantasticwithafussy9yearold

Small restaurant/bar tucked away in a nice location in Walsall, good atmosphere. I ordered a taste pot with two sides and the portion sizes were huge! I requested the 'hot' flavour however it wasn't hot at all so next time I would try the extra hot instead. The Berry mocktail was recommended as the most popular but it was extremely sweet and I wouldn't opt for this again.

Visited afrikana with my children expecting to experience authentic african/carribbean food as advertised on their menu and online. I wS very shocked and surprised to see that the restaurant owners were not of African or carribbean descent (South Asian) thus, immediately I knew the food would not be authentic or a true representation of my vibrant and influential culture.The jerk sauce was an insult to the spicy vibrant jerk sauce that you experience from a authentic Jamaican restaurant.Given I had already paid for my food online and my kids were starving I collected my order. Food was mediocre and was akin to what you would expect from big John's. Burger was measly, chips were nice, rice was OK and wings were not bad. Please, as a word of advice, if you are going to have the audacity to appropriate african/Caribbean culture, get it right and get real jamaican/African chefs in! My culture is too precious/influential to have our food done at a disservice!

Gio's was recommended to me as a very local restaurant, I visited this evening with my husband. A bargain 3 course meal for £13.50 including coffee. Fresh homemade Italian food and bring your own drinks which is great. The owner was warm and welcoming and does a lot for the local community which is lovely to see. We will try and visit one of their Sunday pop up restaurants soon as this is a great idea.

Not been here in a while, the four of us had lunch which was excellent. Very attentive staff and the hotel reception/bar area was lovely with superb grounds outside. Maybe a dress code be a good idea, we were all shirt/jacket/trousers whilst Dave from Pelsall on another table was wearing trainers and a hoodie. Will return.
