The food was excellent, perhaps a touch of butter with the dough balls wouldâve increased moisture levels. Steak was fantastic and the dessert was a simply stupendous piece of confectionary. The drinks were kept topped up and flowing by our handsome waiter Kyle ;). Would recommend!

Really good welcome - great start! Family of five all found something they fancied and everyone enjoyed their meal. The staff here are friendly and attentive without being overbearing and the prices are reasonable.

Our waiter for the evening was brilliant, very friendly funny and attentive. Welcome from the minute we walked through the door, knowledge of dishes and service all very professional from the staff. Food amazing, great menu choices- couldnât fault any of it. Will definitely be back. Best meal we have eaten in a very long time! Not quite sure why we havenât been before? Many thanks !

Heard good things about this place but have got to say was not impressed one bit. Ordered âhot wingsâ to start and they were basically normal under cooked wings with no marinade and presented with what I can only describe as the weirdest tasting sauce I have ever had. Between the three of us we tried to eat as many as possible but left more than we ate, the guy who collected them seemed offended that we had left them and that we didnât like them. All three of us ordered steak and mine I have to say was cooked as requested (rare), however it was one of the blandest steaks I have ever had. The guy did come and ask me if my steak was cooked ok but not if we enjoyed it. To be honest we could of gone to a Wetherspoons for half the price and it would of been better! My drink was a doom bar out of a bottle which was obviously ok but my mother in law had a fruit cider from the pull and it seemed that the gas was off. My wife had a Martini and lemonade which was ok.I love local bespoke places like this rather more corporate places like Wetherspoons but in this instance (unless this was a one off) I would rather pay half and get something twice as good.We are sorry your experience fell short of ours and your expectations for this I must apologise.I'd like the opportunity to rectify this if you would give me a call I will ensure that this is dealt with swiftly and make sure you receive the service and quality you and we expect. Poor service, awful sirloin, full cheap oil chips, when mentioned to waitress she replied ill tell the butcher not the professional answer i was waiting for. My dad said no can you tell the chef... Still waiting for a response!!Don't think she wants to be there. Wait to long for drinks etc etc. She was not impressed with us mentioning the sirloin surely she should of been more hospitable towards. Oh sorry but a smile wouldn't go a miss. I want to be made welcone not uncomfortable

We arrived quite late on a Friday night. We were seated immediately upstairs and received perfectly attentive service. Just right.We ordered a couple of starters and then the Double Take with a portion of HUGE Portobello mushrooms. All of it was perfectly cooked and a great portion size. We couldn't finish but no problem it was bagged up for us. £55 with the drinks and well worth it. Very chilled atmosphere. Very much looking forward to returning.
