Dined here with colleagues, French onion soup for vorspeisen was very good, wine Dalmatian Plavic was just ok, steak fillet was pleasant wirh jacket potatoe and garlic butter, potato was not quite cooked and lumpy. Skipped desert, enough said, return no, as El Dorado around the corner is in my view much better.

On my recent Germany visit I made a stop in Xanten. We went for breakfast to Xantener Stuben Restaurant. It was first class. There was absolut nothing missing on the buffet. The spread was wonderful and everything tasted fantastic. The price was more then reasonable and it even included champagne. The owner is super nice and makes everybody feel welcome. I wanna go back to Germany just for the food at Xantener Stuben. I will definitely be back and will make reservations the next time I go with the family. I can't wait. Thank you Xantener Stuben for making this Germany trip a culinary highlight.

Not easy to reach, settled in the fields, new restaurant is very charming, joining classical local farmhouse architecture with a brand new interior. The menu is quite attractive and tasty, the house personnel very friendly and helpful. The open kitchen allow you to see the chef at work, and this is quite interesting! English translated menu is available, and this helps foreigners a lot...! We'll come back soon...!

Traberstuebchen features traditional German fast food, and is in particular known for their Schnitzels. There is some indoor and outdoor seating, and of course a take out counter. Prices are typical for that kind of restaurant, and parking is abundant in the lot right next to it.
