We visited with family and friends because I read a lot of good reviews but finally, I was really disappointed. The waiter was very unfriendly. But the most disappointed was the fact that although the final receipt already included 10% service fee the waiter said that we need to give more.As the food quality... it was good... but again... service is awful.

I have been in Yerevan for a week (20+ meals) and this is, by far, the best restaurant in Yerevan. I just found it yesterday and I went back for dinner again tonight.. People of so many nationalities as guests - including a large table of 10 of my fellow Americans. The head waiter/manager, Amar/Aram is invaluable and does a fantastic job. He speaks at least five different languages and keeps the staff on their toes. Fantastic outdoor and indoor seating. Everything you eat will be incredibly fresh and just prepared moments ago. And portion size is very generous. We celebrated a birthday. Everything was exellent. On a hot July evening, we sat on the open veranda. Listened to classical music, then modern, people danced with pleasure. And then was showed a small ballet performance based on the history of Armenia.Everything that was ordered was very tasty and beautiful. In general, the menu is varied, the choice of dishes is rich. Served quickly and very friendly. Prices are quite reasonable. Our birthday was presented with a bottle of Armenian wine.The restaurant is a complex of several verandas, rooms and all this among the trees. Light illumination, music, a lot of smiling people - all this creates a festive atmosphere.I recommend ordering kebab from beef and drink from blackberry.

We were desperate for a meal in this sparse location and were delighted to find the Dzor in the gorge by the river. (you must have Google maps to find it = no English sign posting). Seems foreigners are not very frequently there since we were spirited off to a shelter by the river which we had to ourselves. Great meal, excellent service, linen and all. Superb Karas red wine.

This building is a restored monksâ refectory (eating hall) from 1655. It is now an elegant restaurant with classic and modern Armenian food. We enjoyed a salad with pomegranate dressing, lamb chops marinated in pomegranate juice, and summer dolmas (stuffed pepper, tomato, and eggplant). All were beautifully presented and cooked perfectly.

We ordered a appetizer plate with cheese, vegetables and herbs, plus four different meals (lamb chop with vegetables, chicken, veal, and pork & mushrooms). Four thumbs up! The view was great and my Armenian host, a demanding gourmand who was eating there for the first time, was seriously considering it as the site of his son's engagement party.
