We celebrated a birthday. Everything was exellent. On a hot July evening, we sat on the open veranda. Listened to classical music, then modern, people danced with pleasure. And then was showed a small ballet performance based on the history of Armenia.Everything that was ordered was very tasty and beautiful. In general, the menu is varied, the choice of dishes is rich. Served quickly and very friendly. Prices are quite reasonable. Our birthday was presented with a bottle of Armenian wine.The restaurant is a complex of several verandas, rooms and all this among the trees. Light illumination, music, a lot of smiling people - all this creates a festive atmosphere.I recommend ordering kebab from beef and drink from blackberry.

We made a reservation via messenger app & received a confirmation of our reservation. The restaurant was very considerate & gave us a private room as we've requested for a non-smoking section. We tried their homemade red wine, mushroom & borsch soups, eggplant rolled in walnuts, grilled sevan trout, chicken kebabs, veal cutlets. Service was friendly & prompt. Food was good except for the mushroom soup & veal which we found a tad salty (but we note that food in Armenia is generally a little more salty than back home). We particularly liked the borsch soup & eggplant. Prices are very reasonable given the quality of food & standard of service. Highly recommended. This became one of my favorite places in Armenia. The food is delicious, atmosphere is so relaxing and cozy, you want to stay there forever. And the hosts, OMG, they are so caring and hospitable, they allowed us to pick fruits from their own garden and then we took the fruits with us. This old house is 100 year old. WHich we did a pleace for foreighners to enjoy our sity, our traditions, and national cuisine. Our guests can try to make themselve, ate our fruits from our garden. and enjoy their day. PS. In our garden we have a pear tree

We were desperate for a meal in this sparse location and were delighted to find the Dzor in the gorge by the river. (you must have Google maps to find it = no English sign posting). Seems foreigners are not very frequently there since we were spirited off to a shelter by the river which we had to ourselves. Great meal, excellent service, linen and all. Superb Karas red wine.

We were visiting Oshakan village, St Mesrop Mashtots church and afterwords decided to have a family lunch somewhere nearby.We found Nazani Restaurant on TripAdvisor indicating just to be some 2 kms away and headed there, without any clue of what it could be :)The manager greeted us in the entrance and we entered the grounds of the Armenia wine factory. We were very much surprised to discover such an oasis in a dessert.The restaurant hall was very beautifully decorated, with wall paintings and wooden decors, carpets and Armenian ornaments. It was very fresh and a real pleasure to be there after the daytime burning sun.We were served by a very polite waiter who spoiled us with his attention. The manager Tina took her time and suggested us selection of tasty food, their specialities. Dropped here in by accident, but this is really a nice, cosy place. They have several mini-areas for groups and as far as I could tell everyone there was having a great time. Very mixed crowd too (old/young, traditional/modern, Armenian/non-Armenian).Staff was super friendly & food tasted great. The best part was that a big family next to me were celebrating the 6th (?) birthday of their son. At some point a special cake was delivered and they were so kind to also offer me â a total stranger â a piece. That gesture made me give this place a 5 stars.
