We usually go for happy hour because the prices are cheaper. We both donât eat big meals so it is perfect for us. We dined here with friends ad really enjoyed every aspect of the evening. The service was great, the food was excellent and the owner Brenda stopped by our table to see how everything was. We will go back for sure. Highly recommended.

Enjoyed a healthy and nourishing lunch at the Cabin in September. Arrived around 12:30, on a Sunday and without a reservation. No lineup or wait.Good selection of food items and easy to select vegetarian menu items. We enjoyed two of their signature salads. The CABIN SALAD full of leafy greens with dried cranberries, cucumber, bell peppers, feta, candied almonds and orange cumin vinaigrette, was very tasty especially the dressing. The SUPER SALAD full of leafy greens, kale, organic quinoa, avocado, chick peas, dried cranberries, bell peppers, almonds and feta cheese with an Okanagan apple cider vinaigrette. Fine service, polite and helpful. Atmosphere and decor- retro vintage. Cold in the restaurant on the afternoon we were visiting. But an enjoyable meal.

The restaurant was so great, I left with a feeling that nothing could have been better. Service top notch, fun Wednesday night martini special to start, delicious food. I had the curry Kahlua prawns that we perfect, juicy prawns with wonderfully interesting flavour. Atmosphere is eclectic and unique and fun. Music at a perfect volume accentuated the experience. Our evening was perfect!

The restaurant is first class in every way. The staff greet you at the door and are very friendly. The premises is very clean and spacious. The chairs are high back and upholstered with a convenient hook on the table to hang your purse. There is a good selection of wine and food available. The presentation of the food is wonderful and is fresh and cooked to perfection. The service is great. I had salad, rice, 3 prawns and 2 scallops for $25.00 and found it to be pricey but it is a first class so the prices are also but you eat and drink the very best. Left hungry!!

Went to this restaurant to celebrate my son's 40th birthday and was disappointed. Either they are still having growing pains or they just dont have a game to match their price. We love good food and are very prepared to pay good dollars for exceptional food and service and we found neither here. Cole the waiter tried very hard but very new. No problem with that because we all have to learn our craft. The problem is, because of a variety of shortfalls in service, they really should have had someone still shadowing him, so he would know how to react to the shortfalls from the kitchen. None of the food was hot! OK, I know, I should have gotten the manager involved but Im not going to make a scene to spoil someone elses special day. My wife and I were here in Surrey for a medical appointment. We found high recommendations on TripAdvisor and OpOpenTable for Old Surrey Restaurant. We were not disappointed. From the moment we entered the 101 year old house come restaurant, service was great. We dined in the old dining room. My wife chose the stuffed chicken. My wife, a superb cook has very discriminating taste. Excellent! Very very good. My choice was the lamb ribs medium-rare. Perfect! Succulent, suitably complemented by roasted potatoes, carrots and asparagus. I had a glass of the Kettle Valley Merlot - a good choice. My wife happily shared her dessert of chocolate pate - also very good.5 âï¸ for sure.

I was born in Montreal and I grew up with Schwartz's - Estrella's is pretty good smoked meat. It doesn't have the same spices but it's pretty good. It's machine sliced, another difference and that does make a difference but now I'm just being picky. I had a chat with the owner and he claims to have trained at Dunn's in Montreal, another smoked meat institution. The meat is smoked in Abbotsford. It's a small place, belly up to the bar to order and service is pretty fast. Pickles are good and they have Black Cherry soda (not Cott's but again I am being picky). They have other stuff on the menu but really? why would you bother.
