Evergem (Dutch pronunciation: [ˈeːvərɣɛm]) is a municipality located in the Belgian province of East Flanders. The municipality comprises the towns of Belzele, Doornzele, Ertvelde, Evergem proper, Kerkbrugge-Langerbrugge, Kluizen, Rieme, Sleidinge and Wippelgem. On January 1, 2006, Evergem had a total population of 32,244. The total area is 75.04 square kilometres (28.97 sq mi) which gives a population density of 430 inhabitants per km².

This cute café doesnt serve fries as was stated in some of the other reviews.They have cheese, salami and olives, but for a high price and not a lot of quality.Ambiance is cosy and they had football on, wich was also nice.Hi, did you know that you can buy fries close to us and ear them at our bar/terrace when buying a drink? To correct you:We serve cheese from a local farmer, gentse kop made by a butcher in town, same as for the salami (so fresh not from a shop), serranoham aged for 5years, olives , from a local turkish shop, tierenteyn mustard from well known thé mutserd maker in Ghent. So we might say we do not buy cheap - high quantities selled food in grosery stores. Every week I do thr shopping for these goods so a bit pitty to read your comment on the not high quality?We are glad that you did enjoy the football and the ambiance!

Any time we visit Ghent, we always visit this bar. Great location, great atmosphere and great choice of beers. The staff are lovely too. When there today, we asked one of the girls where she got her Delerium transfer, 5 minutes later, she kindly left one on our table. Another member of staff called Michael was a lovely guy to chat to and very helpful any queries we had. Donât leave Ghent without visiting this bar!

My 2nd visit in a month time and I was never disappointed. To me this restaurant has a calm gentle atmosphere. Leave your 'bling' at home :-) Staff are friendly and efficient. The food was amazing, creative, perfect presentation, .... every single dish was memorable from the savory coquilles, the tasty cod dish to the deliciously creamy lemon pie. The service is top class. The wine list is well-chosen.Perfect balance all round.
