open early...serves breakfast till five..till FIVE! that's RIGHT sleep in and you won't miss a beat...but let's get down to the meat...or salmon, actually...the meat in this case is bacon on a wonderful piece of thick toast...accompanied by 2 perfectly poached eggs and smothered in, maybe(and i've eat this dish around the world, but mostly in the san francisco area. hundreds of times) the best hollandaise sauce i've ever tasted...thick, but not TOO...and that hint of lemon is there. the service was flawless and the atmosphere casual...and the price was undeniably reasonable...i can't believe i waited as long as i did to check it out...the last few establishments on this corner folded after a bit..i just thought this would do the same... SO glad it didn't...

Nice inside and we sat in the conservatory part to have lunch. The menu was in English too which was handy for us. I had a pitta bread with roast veg and Tzatzik which was really nice. Husband had the fish and chips but said they were a bit cold. We had some local beer which was nice. Service wasn't very attentive and was quite slow.

and they're good. they even throw in fries and some vegetables they call a salad. so you can tell yourself it's healthy. or at least you won't be lying to your mother when she asks if you've eaten your vegetables...

Just landed to Amsterdam and my friends took me to lunch here last weekend and I had my first ever Poké bowl which was delicious and healthy. The staff were friendly and efficient and food arrived fast. Overall a good experience and nice ambient with Christmas decoration too. Great for family and friends.

What a wonderful venue with a fantastic selection of beers, lagers and ciders! The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and made some recommendations for drinks that we would like......and they were spot on! We enjoyed a board of meat and cheese with our beers......the small board was plenty and I can imagine the standard board is quite large! A great venue which I would thoroughly recommend.

We, a mature couple, stopped here for lunch during a day visit to Leiden. There is a great terrace overlooking the junction of two stretches of canal. The service is obliging, efficient and very pleasant. The food and drinks are of a high standard. A great place to relax.

We were a group of 8 people. The first waiter after no more than 30 seconds said âit is taking too longâ and called a second one. After ten minutes another waiter told us âwe have other tables to take care ofâ. Believe me, we were not making them wait more than 10/20 seconds. Clearly the boss does not require the personnel to be kind. Rude and unpleasant service.

We had lunch here on a busy saturday. The waitresses were friendly and attentive.I tried their Chef special which was smoked salmon, crab salad and shrimp croquettes on white bread. Wonderful. The dish came with a lot of fresh salad and capers. The bread was really good.My husband was very satisfied with his thai beef salad. The meat was very tender and cooked and seasoned perfectly.The toilets however were a bit worn - even though they were clean.
