The municipality had a population of 66,712 in 2017, and covers an area of 15.40 km (5.95 sq mi), of which 1.15 km (0.44 sq mi) is water. It is situated on the eastern edge of Rotterdam, on the Hollandse IJssel river.

This place is good and also very busy-Call a head to make things easier-The food and different offerings is good-the service is typical Netherlands and make sure you have 90+ minutes as they are methodological when it comes to serving. The food is hot, good and tasty and do not be afraid to ask for something off menu or seasoned different.

I'm rating this very good for what it is, a buffer restaurant. It doesn't quite compare to a normal restaurant. IT's a fairly new place behind a KFC and a MacD. Shares the same building as the Fuji chinese place which is listed on tripadvisor seperately.Hygiene seemed quite good and there was almost continuous restocking. Price does include free softdrinks and coffee. Alcoholic drinks you will have to fetch yourself and pay seperately.There's about 40 warm dishes on the buffet as well as cold meats and sea foods. You can get fish and meat grilled for you for which there can be quite a queue. Things I tasted where generally quite good except for the grilled lobsters and crayfish which were massively overcooked, tough and rubbery and the ensis clams which were really sandy. All in all not a bad concept, grab what you like, no waiting for orders, ideal if you're on a budget or with a group including children.

The place is very unassuming at first glance, but don't be fooled. It's a top notch restaurant with excellent food and best service. The whole thing is designed to be an experience and it is amazing. All this for only 30 euro + drinks. Just got my favourite restaurant in Rotterdam!

We really like to visit this modest small restaurant, located at the Botersloot in Rotterdam, only steps from the famous Markthal. This time we had a late lunch, consisting of a delicious roasted pork and rice dish and a large pot of tea. This restaurant is run by delightful people from Hanoi; the restaurant is appointed simply, don't expect white linen and silver table ware, but the food is great and real value for money.

What can you say; you need to book weeks, or even months in advance. It's so popular because it's so special. Chef Yamamoto combines traditional Japanese cuisine with local dutch ingredients. He investigates and researches the best of both worlds. Not always with outstanding results but always an exciting experience.And then you can get a sake, directly imported from Japan, to match most every dish. The only downside, you can't get in on a spur of the moment..

Even though my girlfriend is from Taiwan and we prefer to eat the more typical asian dishes at other restaurant downtown Rotterdam this one is very good as well. As we live close to this restaurant we sometimes go get some food from here. The quality and speed of preparation is good but it can be pretty busy when you go there at the wrong time. Calling them first can help improve the waiting time though.As with every Chinese restaurant also this one gave us the wrong food once as well :)

A new hotspot in Rotterdam, and hopefully to stay. Worthwhile visiting in this very nice and relaxed area of Rotterdam. Great ambience, very nice young staff but they know what they are doing and talking about. Food is delicious, fusion, asian, sharing dinner. Nice selection of wines. We visited this restaurant for an all-you-can-eat-and-drink deal. The food buffet was good quality, regularly refilled and ample choice, mostly well known Indonesian dishes (but flavours and spicyness adapted to the Dutch palet). Good choice of desserts too, including a lot of fresh fruit, ice cream and creme brulee.. Service was quick and friendly. The restaurant is situated right across from a metro station. The ambiance is nice enough although not very indonesian.

Original and fresh food. Dishes with wine pairings : just perfect! You don't eat common asian food, you just discover new flavors. The atmosphere is classy and people really kind. Just close your eyes and trust the Chef! My best asian food experience so far :-D
