Find out what American restaurants to try in Kingston. Far from the north coast resort towns, Kingston is Jamaica at its most authentic, a sprawling city of contrasts spread between the east coast and the Blue Mountains. Kingston's diversity is reflected in its disparate neighborhoods, from the wealthy northern suburbs to the less affluent downtown. Travelers can discover the spirit of One Love at the Bob Marley Museum, or sample delicious ice cream at Devon House. I was prepared for the worst after reading the reviews. Well, we had a totally different experience than most the reviewers. We were somewhat apprehensive when we found the car park totally full and we had to park nect door. We were seated in 10 minutes. It took just a bit longer than that to have our order taken. Everyone was happy with their meal. Our waitress was very professional, even happily accommodating our request to change seats when a corner bank became available. It was a great family night out. I recommend TGIF. The place was a bit loud, but that was expected given it was a Fri.I'm glad we cane to TGIFppplplll 'll llamo'll

After a long day of flying my boyfriend and I were starving. His cousin picked us up from the airport and this was our first stop. The food was amazing and the service was very efficient.
Contemporary dining and bar with indoor and outdoor seating in a cobblestone courtyard with a pond. Vegetarian and gluten free menu options are available. Open for lunch and dinner.
Chive opened in November 2018, and I took a friend for lunch in late March, 2019, hoping they had ironed out the challenges inherent in opening a new restaurant. Certainly, the menu choices very interesting and varied and the waiter was both friendly and knowledgeable about the dishes of offer. However, service was extraordinarily slow. We were in the restaurant for two hours - not an amount of time that most folks can invest at lunch time. However, the food was very good, and the house salad dressing was so special that it warrants ordering a salad simply to have the dressing. The pasta was also very good. Recommended for lunch if one has lots of time to invest.

Located in the tranquil Knutsford Court Hotel with a poolside view. The Melting Pot Restaurant & Lounge offers an excellent venue to enjoy great meals with even better company.
Booked a table for 15 in advance for our lunch time, only to get there and the table was not prepared. They had to move customers to seat us. We were given the restaurant week menu and was soon told that only the fish out of the three options were available. We complained only to be told, that the lasagne was not presentable for serving and the chicken was "pending". It would take 45 minutes to prepare. The fish we were also told would take 25 minutes to prepare. After several people came to talk to us and we could get no answers except we are sorry. We got up and left hungry and very dissatisfied,
