Reviewed By louisaf898For parents who want some good R&R I would highly recommend. The kids center is fully equipped with modern activities and trained staff to take care of your toddler's. My four year old had the best getaway. Plenty of safe outdoor play time activities too. Separate toilet's, pool table for adults, huge flat screen tvs, story books, puzzles, trampoline and ball pit with much more. Loved the three pools, the bars and service from staff, cleanly, they fumigate daily so lovely not to have flies or mosquitos. Good variety of food too

Water sports such as jet ski rides, banana boat rides, kayaking, deep sea fishing, scuba diving and wind surfing are offered to our guests.

Reviewed By SaugataC15The hotel has the beach on one side, and river on the other. One can see the sun rise on the river and set in the ocean. Rooms are spacious, food is good, staff are courteous. As the title says, we might have given 5 *s on a different day. We stayed on 23, and 24 Dec nights. 23 was smooth. On 24th, as we returned after a long day, and started freshening, the water ran out due to some pumping issue. The concerned staff member was away for Christmas holiday and it took several hours to fix. Initially, staff did not seem to understand the gravity, and were more interested in convincing us to have dinner so they could wrap it up. It took a while for them to understand the situation. They offered us another room, however it was on ground floor, and waterlogged due to the rain. After a while, the problem was fixed. Later same night, we were woken up around 3AM by music from some other hotel/party. Music continued till dawn and we could not catch any sleep. Rooms were not sound proofed.

Nice family guest house and restaurant
Reviewed By camilaf117We were in Bentota for one day and booked the guest house one day before. We were received very well, the room was good for the price and the owner was super friendly. We also had a very nice area to chill and enjoy outside the room.The food was great and affordable. It is very close to the train station (less than 10 min walk) and to the beach. Although we didnt do it he offers also tours. Very nice people.

Perfect place to stay in Bentota
Reviewed By bill916This homestay is very nice and the location is great, a quick walk from the beach and right by the train station. The room is clean and comfortable with mosquito net and the bathroom is very nice . There is a balcony overlooking the garden and there are monkeys. The people who run it a very nice and the breakfast is delicious. I would stay here again if I ever get back to Bentota.

Reviewed By GaborciciWir haben zuerst 2 Nächte und nach 2 Wochen nochmals 4 Nächte im Stay Aruna verbracht. Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit dem Fanzimmer und mit dem super guten Frühstück. Es gab jeden Tag etwas anderes und reichlich zu essen. Nach Absprache haben wir auch bei Kumari das Nachtessen bekommen, das auch ausgezeichnet war. Wir können das Homestay sehr empfehlen, da es auch nah am Bahnhof Bentota (ca 200m)und dem Strand entfernt ist. Bandu und seine Frau sind ganz herzliche und freundliche Gastgeber. Danke für alles A&A aus der Schweiz.
