Beirut Bed and Breakfast Inns | Places to Stay in Beirut

Often called "Paris of the Middle East", Beirut is a thriving hotspot for shopping, socializing and sightseeing, despite many wars and unrest. The city has been rebuilt several times, with modern architecture sharing space with Ottoman and colonial French buildings. Bustling streets such as Hamra and Ashrafieh provide hopping nightlife while the National Museum and the Gibran Museum give visitors a taste of the city's history. The Corniche is the place for activities like jogging and biking.

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in!

I have stayed in thousands of hotels in my lifetime, some very expensive. The Parisian Plaza was a standout! Fantastic service and accommodations. It is in a very good location, near Downtown. Every staff member provided exemplary service in a friendly and hospitable manner. I would definitely stay in this hotel on any future visits to Lebanon and would recommend it to all my friends. Thank you, Parisian Plaza, and to the superb manager, Rania!

At a time when there are protests all over Lebanon, I stayed close to the Airport at Hotel Assaha. We have been there before but only to eat and the food was delicious, and this time we had a room for the night. What a splendid stay it was, the rooms are very clean and comfortable and staffed by very helpful people, every corridor has a lot of history hanging around it.

Perfect Beirut resting place

One could not ask for a nicer place to stay, whether in Beirut or anywhere in the world. Homelike, comfortable, and welcoming, the owner and staff are superb and offer every assistance to the weary traveler whether it be transport, advice, currency exchange. I stayed here twice in the course of a few days and will be back for sure. The room was charming and comfortable. AC is in full effect and a generator softens the blows of Lebanon’s notorious power grid. And the location is simply perfect. Avoid. The glass towers in sterile city blocks and have a glass of wine on the patio of this gem of a hotel in the middle of everything.

Unacceptable behaviour avoid this Hotel

I booked colleague's into the Bayview on the Amadeus GDS system when they arrived at the Hotel with a copy of the booking and the reservation number they said they was no record of the booking and initially refused the clients unless they paid nearly US$30 per night extra after numerous international calls and nearly an hour later they honoured the booking, bear in mind the clients were coming off an international flight after travelling nearly 24 hours. It gets worst the clients had a second reservation before they left they checked that they were holding the reservation and confirmed the rate but when they arrived bak the Hotel said the reservation was cancelled and you guessed it they could have the room at a much higher rate.

Horrible management

Reviewed By kareneU7595TU

The room is nice, the dryers are faulty, and the lighting is not great. The management is terrible!! Tried to negotiate prices and was treated with extreme rudeness and I got blocked, only because I asked for a decrease in price. The staff is nice but good luck trying to reach upper management and being treated like a human being. Overall this place is a rip off and you can do much better at a similar price

A 3-night stay

Reviewed By ChristinaTwal

I needed a place to sleep at and close to somewhere I needed to be during the day, so Sunrise hotel was the perfect choice. The room is very spacious and had a balcony with seaview, it is also very clean and neat. The staff were very friendly, always with a smile on and willing to have a little chat and give advice and help. The breakfast was OK, It is not a buffet but it us served to you per order weather at the bar area connected to the lobby or at the room, maybe I didn't enjoy it because i was eating alone but again the variety is not there. One drawback was the noise coming from the highway nearby, but it's not all the time and maybe it depends which room you take, mine was at 2nd floor. All in all I would go there again if it's not summer and a pool is needed :)
