The worst hotel experience i ever had

My trip was scheduled to start on 30.04.2022, before one day of my trip (29.04.2022), I receive an email from my travel agent telling me that the hotel sent them an email saying that "they apologize for the mistake they did, but the room I reserved is fully booked (attached email), although had paid my amount in full before 1 week of my travel date. They didn't even refund me the difference between the rooms, saying that the prices are the same for both rooms (even though I had seen through booking.com that there was a difference in prices) so they were lying to me. The worst part of all this is that, on the 3rd night of my stay, I had a friend who wanted to rent a room for one day, and they told him that the room I initially booked was available. Why haven't they moved me to the room I initially booked I dont know. Moreover, when i first reach the hotel, I check the bathrooms there were no towels, I call the reception and asked for towels, after I called them 3 times, they finally got me the towels, but, when they brought the towels, they wanted to get in the room and check if really there were no towels!! It's like I was lying to them!!! At nights, mosquitos destroyed my life!! and ruined my vacation! I couldn't sleep properly the entire duration of my vacation! On the 3rd day, they gave me a machine that kills mosquitos, but at nights there was no electricity for the machine to work!!! When I booked my hotel, they mentioned that there was a pool, but the pool was empty. not to mention the broken chairs, broken door knobs & broken toilet seats. I stayed for 6 days, only once the room service came to the room and cleaned, and thats after I asked them to do it. I went as a tourist thinking that I will enjoy my time at my hotel, but this hotel was the only reason that ruined my mood during my vacation. I even checked out early my last day, and slept in another hotel. My mistake that I should have asked for a refund earlier and left! This hotel was the worst experience I ever had in my entire life!!! I wouldn't recommend this hotel to my worst enemies I swear!!!!!

A home away from home
Reviewed By moslitI stayed in a king size suite for two months and it suited me superbly. Located in a quiet area of Kaslik, this hotel served all my needs and I always felt like at home, even though I was far from it. The rooms were modern, with all the necessary facilities for a long stay, including a washing machine, stove, microwave, fridge freezer, sink, TV in living room and bedroom, excellent shower, twice a week room service, gym, wifi etc. The pleasant and friendly staff never gave up going the extra mile and have been a great help during my stay. They are the real asset of this hotel. If I was to return to the area I would look no further. Hayali suites is one of the best long stay properties I have ever been to.

The Faraya Village Club is a cosy holiday residence, just a short drive from the Faraya-Mzaar ski slopes. The charming chalets have a warm decoration in wood and stone. Faraya Village Club is a genuine mountain village, peacefully located at an altitude of 1400 meters. It offers beautiful natural surroundings with good routes for trekking and mountain biking. All apartments have a bathroom with a large bath, a chimney, a fully equipped kitchenette and a balcony or terrace with a great view of the mountains.

Reviewed By Explore-istaVery friendly welcome to Faraya Village Club. I had booked the room for 2 nights, 2 people on booking.com. When checking in, they said the card was declined and she could try it again now. We were unsure about using it because of the currency situation but she assured us that if processed in USD and on an international card, it would work out the same. And it did. My card was charged correctly. Stay was very pleasant. ?We booked a studio room and they facilitated us by separating the beds to make it a twin. 5$ charge for a half box of firewood, which lasted us for the 2 nights. The fire was very cosy in the studio room. Wifi was good in room and restaurant area. We ordered pizza and it tasted good. The receptionist helped us organise snow mobile and advised us wisely re ski gear etc (that as we were only going for one hour, it was not necessary to hire). Some tips for management that would really improve any stay : The studio room could have had bedside lights and more tableware & kettle in the kitchen area. The restaurant area was nice with lots of couches but could easily have been cosier with the fire lighting, or at least offered it for the guests.

Reviewed By 876amalhThis is the third time I stay at Bkerzay and it is still one of my favourite places for resting, relaxing and enjoying great food and scenery. My husband and I stayed for the night and during the day hosted lunch for our friends. The food was delicious - and also super friendly for kids. I cannot recommend this place more highly. It's a slice of heaven in the Mediterranean. Don't miss it (and make sure to order the pumpkin kibbe).

The Hotel’s location makes it easy to reach from Beirut International Airport (20 minutes). An added advantage is that Hotel Grand Gabriel is at 4 kilometers from Casino du Liban and from Jeita Grotto, nominated in the new 7 wonders of nature contest and many of Lebanon’s famous historicals; Our lady of Lebanon Harissa, Byblos (20 minutes) and only few meters from the commemorative stela of Nahr el Kalb.
Horrible experience
Reviewed By pinecoconutBefore booking we have checked online for the price for two nights for 90,721 LBP but actual price for two nights for 120,000. We went to check the hotel and room before booking and agreed on a specific room, and the manager jean told us that there is a restaurant there that plays music, but apparently it was a night club. Once we arrived, we got the room card and a paper for the internet. the internet didnt work for the whole weekend though we asked for another pin, we asked for one bed, we got one bed with two uncomfortable mattresses that we couldnt sleep till next day, and so does the pillows very sharp like stones-alike, We ordered several times for slippers from the room service, the reception(from 3 staff actually), the IT.. And we didnt receive any, We asked from the room service to open a bottle of wine, and he was trying to open it on the floor in front of our door, And the most outrageous situation is that at 1 am in the morning there was a loud and awful type of music that stayed till 5h30 in the morning and we knew this info when i called the receptionat 2 am and informed him about my complaint plus the mattress and pillow and he said quoting:” i am sorry we are fully booked, this is a night club that stays till 5h30 or 6h00 in the morning and every day and if i have any checkout rooms tomorrow i might change your room”, Not to mention the loud sound of the ac and the mini bar. Guys, we didnt sleep all night The next day, i have informed the reception about my complaint, she was a kind women, and agreed to change my room, this was about time of 10h30 in the morning, and didnt received the next room until 6pm, we had to wait a lot of time for the check in, When we received the other room, the mattress was king sized but covered with a noisy sheet because the mattress was not clean( we have checked it), also we asked for slippers and did not receive Also the view from this room was a landfill, so imagine But the noisy night club vanished in this room except for the noisy rooms next to us were talking and laughing out loud while their rooms were open and chairs in the hallways, we called reception and said they will handle it but they didnt, so at 5h00 in the morning we went out of the room and asked the guests in house politely to the keep it quite, they were bothered from this complain and shut the door, but still they were loud, And since we have checked in late like 10h30pm, we agreed with the manager Jean for a late checkout but he didnt inform anyone though he was still in the hotel that concludes our weekend with less than 48 hours as known worldwide While leaving, reception or even manager didnt apology for all our complaints and we paid mini bar and left Worst experience ever, i dont recommand anyone to live this experience and lets make it clear that this is not a 4 stars hotel not even close, 1 stars max
