Reviewed By pandared_sA great hotel for a winter holiday with your significant other or family. A 10 minute walk from the ski area. Loved the clean rooms with modern design, beautiful views from the window. Very polite and friendly staff. Breakfast is included in the price. Lots of vegetables, tasty porridge and traditional Russian cutlets and cottage cheese casseroles. A big plus is the special lockers for gear with a dryer.

BaikalSKI Hostel is a conceptual place with a friendly atmosphere. The hostel is very centrally located in the heart of the Baikalsk city, 5 minutes’ walk (450 m) from the Baikal, the most amazing and the purest lake in the world. The Baikal ski resort "Gora Sobolinaya " is situated only 10 minutes’ drive from the hostel. There are Shuttle buses to the resort which stop at the Central square (right near the Hostel). BaikalSKI Hostel provides 2 types of accommodation: Hostel type rooms with bunk beds and family rooms. On the ground and first floors there are 3 comfortable saloons, consisting of sitting zone with TVsets, sofas, free Wi-Fi, and dining zone with all necessary housewares (equipped with cook stove, microwave oven, kettles, fridge). In case you would like to skip self-cooking there is a bar “Baikal” on the ground floor of The Hostel providing local cuisine dishes where you can enjoy your dinning or relax with a cup of coffee.

Reviewed By karavanonlineОтдыхали зимой с детьми. Идеальное место для семейного и активного отдыха. Несмотря на море снега и зиму, запомнилось тепло и уют коттеджа. До горнолыжки можно пешком дойти за несколько минут, спускаться с горы еще быстрей. В доме все есть, начиная с полотенец, заканчивая специями. Если что-то срочно понадобится, Александр всегда помогал. Везде есть обогреватели, внизу камин, дети бегали в майках. На втором этаже душевая, внизу ванная, проблем с мытьем не возникало. Готовила я сама, продукты покупали в супермаркете. Еще хоть мелочь, но приятно, хозяева оставили нам клубничное варенье и местную картошку. От дома самые положительные впечатления. Однозначно рекомендую.

Reviewed By Alfina9037Ночевали в комплексе в рамках международного ралли "Шелковый путь". В домиках чисто, уютно, а персонал волшебный! Нашли слетевший с цепочки кулон, разыскали владельца и вернули. Большое спасибо девочкам и всему коллективу комплекса.

До горы - 15 минут пешком (столько же - в противоположном направлении до озера Байкал) Наш поезд прибывал в Байкальск в 5 утра и я искал вариант проживания, где пустили бы в такую рань. Хозяйка Валентина - единственная кто оперативно откликнулся, качественно отвечала на вопросы по вацапу, заказала нам такси к прибытию поезда. Утром были завтраки чемпионов, тогда же можно было обсудить меню на ужин. Ужин Валентина готовит по запросу. По поживанию крупных замечаний нет. Всё соответствовало ожиданиям. Мелкие придирки: 1) Wifi регулярно зависал (лично меня не шибко напрягало) 2) Очень шумные трубы в ванной комнате. Когда кто-то пользуется ванной этажом выше - журчит так звонко, что спросонья кажется что вода бежит прям с потолка. Пожелание: добавить горнолыжной атмосферы в виде помещения для хранения снаряжения Валентина, желаю вам и вашему гестхаусу развития и процветания.

Reviewed By yershovaотличный мини-отель. оказались там в составе туристической группы, ни разу не пожалели о таком стечении обстоятельств. хозяева - приятная семейная пара. очень приветливые и гостепреимные люди. комнаты хорошие, кормят нормально. есть магазин, где можно купить напитки, снэки, сувениры. отель расположен прямо у горы, что удобно для горнолыжников, приезжающих в байкальск. на берег Байкала тоже недалеко и удобно идти. в общем, хорошее место. все недорого, приятно и душевно.

Reviewed By KanbaatarThe Uyut Hotel, located here in Baykalsk, is a three hour drive South from Irkutsk, and it is located in the Irkutst Oblast, Russian Siberia. It is neither excellent nor is it terrible. I am going to call it down the middle of the road average. For one thing, it is an older property and like me, it shows signs of aging. When I checked in I learned that they do NOT accept credit cards. This shocked me but luckily I had 4,000 Russian Rubles cash to pay for my two night stay. 2,000 Russian Rubles a night is certainly acceptable during the summer season. The staff, beginning with the manager, do not speak a word of English. Luckily (again) I am with Russian friends who translated for me. I am in a room with private toilet and bath. It has one king sized bed which is quite comfortable. The view from my room is certainly nothing special. I was not able to get a room without having to navigate stairs. I am partially handicapped and again, my Russian friends assisted me getting my bags up and down stairs. I could go on and on (no soap in the room) but it will still come out as an average venue. They do have a very attractive hotel dining room and this is a positive. I have not eaten in it myself nor do I plan to do so. The hotel does not seem to be near any grocery stores and this is not good. Luckily I brought my own water and some food with me to tide me over until I find a grocery store. The staff certainly are polite and professional. From the exterior is is an attractive hotel. Bottom Line : Yes I would stay here again.
