We had a dinner on October 21,2017 in Cafe Peterburg after long drive. I have chosen this place based on reviews at tripadvisor. The menu has good selection of main courses (Russian cuisine). The waiter did inform us how long it takes to cook each meal, and I have to admit that for a such little town cafe the service was very good and quick. The meals were as we expected, i.e. no surprise, tasty and proper quality.

A classy looking joint with great food and service. On the negative side, there was no internet and a limited beer selection. Highly recommended - unfortunately not open for breakfast.

We were staying nearby for a couple of days and we always ended up eating in Cafe Polina. This place is ultra authentic so don't expect any fanciness. The food is surprisingly excellent, portions are generous and the prices are ridiculously low. The borsh with sour cream is excellent with a glass of Kvass. You will be looked at like aliens but it's part of the fun!

Всегда останавливаемся здесь для обеда или ужина. очень хорошее место в плане сытно и не дорого покушать. Обычно заказываем блюда из мяса на огне. Рекомендую цыпленка -гриль. Демократичная атмосфера и очень радушный хозяин. работает практически весь световой день и до позднего вечера.

This cafe, gift shop and viewing deck is located at midway of the hill. You can easily get to it from all the lifts staying to the left of the hill skiing or snowboarding down, or you can take a walking tour up on the only resort chair lift. The views are stunning of the Baikal Lake. On a clear day you can see the other side of the lake and the Mountains. There’s a sun deck with a Seating area (picnic tables and benches), first and second floor enclosed Seating area. The cafe food is simple cafeteria style, fresh. The cost is lower than the restaurants at the bottom of the hill, equivalent quality. Simple drinks only - soda, juice, energy drinks, mulled wine or beer.

В сущности еда ничего. Ценам она не соответствует, но не отравитесь, вот только сервис... За обедом предупредили, что бы не отпускали поваров, мы вернемся ужинать в 23 часа (ресторан открыт до 24). Нас заверили, что все будет в порядке. Вернувшись, по дороге в номер встретил в коридоре женщину в возрасте с тяжеленной сумкой, которая на мой шутливый вопрос не из ресторана ли она, ответила, что да, из ресторана и мило улыбнулась. В ресторане чуть не плачущие официантки сказали, что повара все ушли. Каково? В тайге неевши с 14? Из положения мы кое как вышли, но... "На дорожку" нам дали завтрак с собой (завтрак с 9, а мы уезжали в 8). В ланч-боксе был приличный бутерброд с колбасой и сыром, вареное яйцо, пакетики с чаем и кофе. Соли, одноразового стаканчика, одноразовых приборов не было. Очень хотелось бы усадить кого-то из администраторов, засунуть ему в рот вареное яйцо без соли, положить за одну щеку пакетик с чаем, за другую щеку высыпать растворимый кофе и посмотреть, как оно наслаждается утренним завтраком))) Так что будьте предупреждены))) Удачи!

Cafe is located in a wooden building and has a unique warm and cozy atmosphere. In 2014 the building was rebuilt and connected warm transition with a new hotel "Grand Baikal". It is possible to increase the area and make the environment more comfortable cafe. The cafe menu "Bugel Vugel" you will find a wide selection of Russian, Siberian and European cuisine.

Welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff, good fresh food, tasty drinks, but expect to spend a very long time dining. The service is very very slow, staff is stretched thin between the large restaurant. Prices are comparable to restaurants in the area.
