In the mood for a quiet romantic Italian dinner for 2 after a day of hiking, we chose Puoro. It proved to be a winner for many reasons: very classy decor, understated elegance, quiet mellow vibe, low key but attentive service, nice wine selection and great menu. As a serious lasagna addict who's tasted and compared all over the world, I will say that Puoro's lasagna is among the best I've had. Just a couple hiccups made this wonderful evening just shy of perfect: my partner has some dietary restrictions and carefully chose an entree that was a good fit, tagliatelle with mushrooms. Oops, "sorry, we don't have that", says our server. Back to the menu for a few minutes of further examination, server stops by again, new order is gnocchi. "Sorry, we don't have that....those are the only 2 things we don't have". Gentle suggestion: work the "we don't have's" into your brief remarks when bringing the menus, to avoid disappointment. My partner's 3rd choice was mozzarella vegetable calzone which could have benefited from some seasoning. Our finale of tiramisu was perfect.

Wonderful!! Beautiful paintings inside top of Amalfi, cosy wooden tables, nice lighting. Great service. Really cool menuâs in a newsletter style. Daily specials as well. Couldnât decide what to order as it all looked amazing! We had the delicious seafood spaghetti, the grilled entrecôte and the pheasant. All wonderful!

I can honestly say that EVERYTHING about this restaurant is EXCELLENT!!!! The quality of the food is amazing. The owners Nico and his lovely wife work the floor and are extremely meticulous to ensure that you are extremely comfortable in there beautiful establishment which has a BEAUTIFUL mountain view of the Wank and Zugspitze. A true hidden gem!!! I'm Italian, reside in Florida and in the restaurant business. In the past have lived in Germany for more than 13 years and in my opinion this establishment is great! In business with the same chef for 18 years is testimony to all. From pizza to a culinary work of art we love this place!

Very good people human and open for questions and suggestions. Asking for feedback and improvements. The tables on the walkway was not a problem as it is fun watching people in and outside the restaurant walking by. The train can be a bit noisy but only for a moment. Food was very good and light, pasta or dumplings. It was so good I had to eat two evenings in a row, and as I was climbing up the Zugspitze, I asked for a BIG "Männer" portion of pasta and got it, just right to close such a heroic day!!! Thanks team well done!

Sat down, someone cleaned the table but left the dirty ashtray, then eventually returned with a menu. The wait wasnât over though as taking the order was also super slow. Drinks arrived and then the pizzaâs in a decent time. However the staff then disappeared for ages. Food eaten, drinks finished and no sign of staff. Eventually someone appeared to remove the plates. The pizza was good and the Ayinger beer a nice alternative in the area. It is a restaurant though, no drinking without eating appeared to be possible.

After a second visit to La Locanda, we have only positive remarks. It may look plain from the outside, but inside is delightful. Service has been excellent, prices inexpensive to moderate, with a menu to satisfy just about anyone. We've tried the pasta arrabiata, pasta with garlic, oil and pepper, as well a pizza. All sure to please. The mozerella bruschetta is a great, and very reasonably priced.For Italian in Mittenwald, La Locanda is our go-to place.

One word: amazing! This place is amazing! My risotto was simply delicious. The seafood in it was fresh tasting and really added to the overall enjoyment of the dish! My wifeâs pizza was extremely good, especially the crust! We would definitely come back again and again!

Wer sich ins Casa Mucca verirrt sollte ein Geschirrhandtuch dabei haben, denn saubere Gläser sind hier Mangelware. Der Gastraum ist klein und vollgestellt. Die Speisekarte ist ambitioniert, nur hält die Küche wenig davon ein. Der Salat mit Hähnchen schwamm in Dressing , am Ende stand gewiss ein Zentimeter Dieser Flüssigkeit im Teller. Der Pizzateig wirkt wie vorgebacken, jedenfalls nicht frisch. Das Risotto war eher ein Gemüseratatouille mit Reis. Das gereichte Dinkelbrot mit vier SoÃen war ok.Fazit, wer nicht so genau hinschaut, und relativ günstig etwas essen will, wird hier was finden.
