Very good, splendid, the best. We have eaten there a few times and we even got married in Bolsterlang and had our diner with 46 guests in this restaurant: just fantastic. Lovely people working at the restaurant (Doris & Guido) and the food is just great.Of course some more expensive, but worth the money for sure!

The Vintage Hotel Charivari with the Cafe/Restaurant/Pizzeria Wintergarten is located in the idyllic mountain village Bolsterlang nearby Oberstdorf. We offer eight rooms of various sizes for 2-4 people. All are comfortably furnished with box spring beds a
No need to eat elsewhere. Stayed here for 4 nights and the food was fresh, local, and well presented. Great staff, nice outdoor seating area and a modern glass conservatory to eat in or a cosy stube area. Accomodation with breakfast was a bargain and the breakfast had plenty of variety. The Charivaris had a mix traditional and modern decoration, our room (1) had a nice large bathroom with awesome shower. Access to a large rear veranda was good to look at views or just read a book, sadly too busy to do either as it's location was good to get out an about. In summary it's a small hotel and restaurant punching at the weight of a large hotel.

Not even a year since the opening, only 12 weeks in Tripadvisor and already voted the best restaurant in Sonthofen. Astounding that so many people all at once decided to give Yamas 5 points! The food is excellent; this lady knows how to cook. She manages to give the original greek dishes her special touch and they really do taste much better than many standard versions. Even the simply grilled meat dishes are absolutely perfectly prepared. This location was, for a long time, the very good german restaurant Germania. They closed and a couple of others tried their luck unsuccessfully. In the meantime after stages of renovation, Yamas looks really fine, bright and clean. Parking is a problem, but the Sonthofen underground car park is only a couple of hundred meters away. Well worth a try. Better to reserve a table and even if you have to wait a while when the kitchen is overwhelmed, its worth it. We have visited Yamas probably 5 or six times and the food was always well above average.
Restaurant Seehaus at the golf course Oberallgäu Our guests can enjoy a stunning view from the restaurant Seehaus onto the golf course Oberallgäu. Protected on a sun-plateau you can get a breathtaking overlook over the 18 flawless greens and the width of
Great view, wifi available from the cable station. The food is good. Service is as German as it comes. I am sure there are better spots in town but if is convenient.

We loved our evening at Riegers. The service was spot on, really friendly and caring. The atmosphere was wonderful. Slightly modern still keeping the rustic charm befitting the town. We shared flammkuchen for entree....we LOVE flammkuchen so relished the chance! Perfectly crisp base, lovely topping, beautifully cooked and light as a feather. Main was venison for me and cooked to perfection with a lovely reduction sauce, perfectly cooked brussel sprouts and chewy parsnip. Seasonal, fresh and delicious. They served the noodles separately and I was happy for that as the dish didn't need it (in my opinion) the portion size was good as is. Portion sizes in Germany seem enormous! My husband had 200gms of rump steak cooked medium rare (you ask for it cooked "English" to get rare to medium rare in this part of Germany!). This dish was a bit of a let down for three simple reasons easy to correct. The steak was unrested so the blood drained onto the plate and mixed with the sauce to make for a pink look, not ideal. The mushroom sauce itself was just bland and needed a good dose of mushroom taste and acidity. The potatoes served with his dish were a bit oily and not very appetising. Just basic errors which I think were the result of a busy kitchen rather than an overall downfall in the cooking as my venison proved they know their stuff out back. So I would absolutely recommend Riegers. The wine list is small and very well priced, the staff really care and it's a great little restaurant we'd return to if we were staying longer.

We didn't really expect too much but this Pizzeria was exciting. Very good side salad, perfect seafood pasta and a delicious pizza. The house wine was very good! We will be back again, definitely! Although the team supports Juve by heart they show several bottles of wine, labeled Bayern Munich.

We come here often and are always welcomed by friendly staff, usually Monica, the owner who personally supervises everything. The menu offers a good choice and the food is consistently excellent. Not as heavy as some traditional Bavarian food. The owner and some staff speak excellent Engish!
