Each visit to the restaurant is now a great taste experience for us. The combination of ingredients always excites the pallet in some of the most unexpected ways. The fish dish last night was exquisite. The lamb maultaschen and asparagus combined local menus with great flavors. The service is really top class. Das Lokal liegt in der Tennisanlage im SchieÃtal nahe des Bosch Werks. Wir waren dort mit einer gröÃeren Gruppe von Kollegen zum Mittagessen. Leider hat das Essen trotz telefonischer Vorbestellung der Gerichte relativ lange gedauert. Wir hatten den Eindruck, dass das Lokal mit der Menge an Gästen überfordert war, obwohl sonst nur wenige andere Gäste anwesend waren. Die Pizzen, wir hatten hauptsächlich die kleinen Pizzen gewählt, waren gut und lecker und für ein Mittagessen ausreichend groÃ. Preis Leistung waren für die Lage in Ordnung. Von der Qualität der Speisen her wären vier Punkte angemessen gewesen, aufgrund des langsamen und überforderten Service gibt es aber nur drei von mir.

Pleasant surprise in the city center, with an attractive menu and friendly service.The weather was really hot and we couldn't have dinner inside, so I can't say much about the ambiance.I liked the food (nice salmon trout) and especially the dessert.I will go back to try more choices.

You can find a very good Swabian cuisine with some international elements at the Fuggerei. They serve a perfect Tafelspitz-consommé. Less convincing were the Swabian lentils. The staff is well skilled and obliging. The medieval building is next to the Münster square and you dine in a vault with modern decoration elements. In summer there is a charming terrace to enjoy mild nights. As good as it gets in Schwäbisch Gmünd.
