Had a great appetite for classical spicy Indian food. A good location,an attractive ambience and a nice inviting furniture. The service was good but the food far from the original taste, serving not appropriate for the price. So had to order an additional dish. And then South Indian way of preparing the dishes. Not the authentic style. Not good value for moneyWe thank you for your positive comments and wish you an excellent stay in Alsace, Strasbourg.

One of the best Indian restaurants I have tried. I have eaten at the Saffron Elephant many times and I was very pleased with their menu every time. You can trust the restaurant for an authentic, cooked-on-the-spot Indian culinary experience, in an elegant setting and with a very good service. The menu is very diverse and everything is freshly cooked. Excellent choice!

My friend and I went to Dawat on a recommendation from a colleague. From the cozy ambiance, friendly staff to the food, every bit of our experience was excellent. The food had rich flavors, well prepared, given in large portions and reasonably priced. My friend is vegan, and we found plenty of options for her on the menu.The stuff had extensive knowledge of the food ingredients and recommended to us the kind of flavors we wanted to try. We ordered fish cutlets and samosa as appetizers. For the main course, we ordered shahi naan, butter chicken, chicken tikka masala and palak paneer. Every dish had authentic taste, and I must add that their Shahi naan is the best naan I have had so far. We shared a carotte sandesh for dessert, and It was so delicious! We are definitely going back again and I would highly recommend.

After a week of French food, I once again went to have some Indian taste.Out of many Indian places in Stranbourg, I found this one is the closest to actual indian food.simple food like dal or complex food like samosa, they seem to master everything.Always happy to visit here & feed myself with close to authentic Indian Food

A great Indian surprise in the center of Kehl! Went back 3 times already, and whatever we chose was simply excellent! The service is kind and professional, the ambiance is nice and once more : fantastic food! We'll be back!Super restaurant au centre de Kehl! Les repas sont delicieux et la service est impeccable! A essayer et a essayer encore! On y est retourne 3 fous deja et tout ce qu'on a choisit etait bon! Bravo!
