Excellent food quality, outstanding wine chart, service always up to the situation.Quantities, despite some negative previous reviews I'd read on TA, are according to me and my After our first dinner we replicated the very next day.Average price for 2 courses (Antipasto + First or Second main course) including beverages: around 50 Euro. Which is in my opinion quite fair.

Nice Italian restaurant. I had Gnocchi with four different kinds of cheese. Reasonable prices, good quality. You should make a reservation.

Wer gerne Pizza isst und mal nach Schmiechen kommt - liegt schon etwas ab vom Schuss - sollte unbedingt hier einkehren. Was du hier aus dem Holzofen bekommst, gibt´s sonst meist nur südlich der Alpen. So kann Pizza schmecken.Tipp: der Donau-Radweg führt durch Schmiechen und die "Sonne" liegt nur wenige Meter entfernt.

We visited the restaurant recently, after we haven't been there for a while. As usual, the service was very friendly. Bruschetta excellent, salad sauce came with a strange flavour and too much of Balsamico, so barely eatable. However, the pasta were, as usual excellent. The price for fish meeal seemed too high for the size of the meal. Vine recommendation excellent, (Friaul).So I can recommend all pasta meals, no pizzas.
