Reviews on Indian food in Karlsruhe, Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany. In 1715, margrave Karl III Wilhelm decided he needed more space than he had in Durlach, so he moved his capital to Karlsruhe and had it designed in circular spokes around his new palace. Because of its unique radial shape, Karlsruhe is sometimes called the “fan city.” Home to Germany’s most important federal courts, the city accordingly teems with civil servants. Karlsruhe Schloss (castle) was badly damaged in World War II, but was rebuilt and is now home to the Badisches Landesmuseum.

Very friendly service. Complimentary naan to boot. We can recommend the butter chicken - melts in your mouth - and the Chilli chicken. Great sauce. Upon request we got extra chillies - not that the average diner would need it but I confess I am addicted. Finally we had kulfi. Excellent. Highly recommended.

Ambiance: Classy decoration, good separation of tables, comfortable chairs makes on stay here for a long timeService: Attentive and immaculate, although it made me feel a little colonialFood & Drink: Large menu with a good selection. Fabulous rice; great wine. The meat in the dishes was tender, the spices in the sauces were well balanced; personally I would have liked it spicier.

We ate very delicious Indian food in Sangam. One of the best places with very good service. We ordered chicken tikka masala with roti. Very yummy. The nearest tram stop is just 5 mins walk away. Love it.
