Convenient stopover not far off the motorway. Very comfortable room in a pleasant market town. A good night's sleep after a long drive. Plenty of options nearby for dinner.

Gleich hinter der Ãhringer Ausfahrt findet man in einem Einkaufszentrum die Schnitzelbude. Grosse Karte, grosse Auswahl und diverse Kaltgetränke vom Fass. Alles vielfach besser als ein Rast- oder Autohof.

Aufgrund einer Geburtstagsfeier durften wir dieses Lokal kennenlernen. Los ging es nachmittags mit Kaffee und Kuchen. Der Kuchen wurde selbst mitgebracht, der Kaffe vom Restaurant war stark, aber dennoch nicht bitter und sehr gut bekömmlich.Abends gab es dann Buffett. Der Tomatensalat war ein Traum, ebenso der Braten. Sowas von zart...das hat selbst mich als Nicht-Bratenesser umgehauen. Ebenso die Hähnchenkeulen. Der kroatische Reis ist sehr lecker, man konnte kaum aufhören zu essen. Gut bürgerlich und super lecker. Die Wirtsleute sind sehr nett und sehr um ihre Gäste bemüht. Man merkt, daà sie mit Leib und Seele bei der Sache sind und fühlt sich sehr wohl. Die sanitären Anlagen sind sauber und riechen gut.

An alle TripAdviser Freunde welche sich aufgrund der Bewertungen das Lokal ausgesucht haben folgender Hinweis: der Inhaber hat das Lokal geschlossen.Allerdings ist jetzt ein neuer Pächter drauf, ein Indisches Restaurant welches ich sehr empfehlen kann. Hat eine grosse Karte und ist geschmacklich sehr gut. V.a. die groÃe Brotauswahl sticht heraus.Preise für Speisen sind im mittleren Bereich die Getränke erschwinglich. Reis wird immer wieder aufgefüllt, sehr freundliches Personal und guter Service. 4.5 Sterne:)

Offered huge potential...... obvious attempts to run the place on minimal staffing lets them down big time.Saw a number of people restrict their orders to leave or just walk out.Seating good and location super.Have lots of wonderful eats to savour.....yet service is not in existence.A real pity.Worth a visit though.

I happened to stay in this hotel restaurant, and whereas the hotel is pretty standard, the restaurant is awesome. I tried the pumpkin soup and also the one with the local dumplings. both of them were wonderful. As a main course I had a special turkey, with chestnuts and red cabbage, absolutely delicious. As a desserts the chocolate mousse left me speechless. Next time I'll go again in this area I'll certainly stay again at this cozy hotel and wonderful restaurant

if you ever liked german cooking rezepte 30 or 40 years ago, you might still probably like the dishes offered by this gasthaus restaurant. the service lady is fairly pleasant, the place is gemuetlich. If you like good cuisine or if you like simply to eat well at 2017 standards, it would be recommendable to avoid this place.

The event I attended was in 2014, it was a beautiful wedding hosted by Weingut Weihbrecht complimented by the scenic rustic surroundings and the never ending welcoming nature of the locals. All the wines we sampled were of the highest quality, as were the people serving the drinks.We were taken through the vineyards by large 'Clydesdale' type horses on little wagons through scenic vineyards. Having attended weddings all over the world I must admit that this was easily the best because of both the people and the surrounds both of which were top class

After 2 years thought we'd try this restaurant again to see if it had improved. Overall comment is that if your not a regular in that restaurant they don't seem to care about you. We felt ignored and left sitting while others that had come in after us were catered to. Food was ok but nothing outrageous especially for the price they are asking. Not worth the money. Location is nice but we really felt like outsiders even though we speak german.

This restaurant was very clean. The service was good. The vegetarian patties with rice and salad was delicious. The pork schnitzel with french fries was also very good. Highly recommend.
