One annoyance, otherwise great
Reviewed By KAandCAI’m not sure why but I am noticing that there seems to be a trend to not have adequate or logical arrangements to hang bath towels in bathrooms in upscale hotels. I find it very annoying. The bathroom here is great but there is nowhere to hang bath towels or bath robes. I’m annoyed enough about the issue I am docking their rating a star. Otherwise, the hotel is very nice. The staff members we have encountered are all friendly and helpful. The breakfast is quite good. The parking garage is excellent.

Little Gem!
Reviewed By N8229HVbarbaraaLovely hotel situated within the city walls - literally. It is a short walk 5 mins to the centre. The rooms are quite small but large enough. Our room „Vogt Wilhelm“ had part of the City Wall within the room. Fantastic. The hotel has a large court yard, where you can enjoy breakfast. They also offer various wines on an „honour system“. Large dining roo and a large corner with an extensive library of books and games. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We would definitely come back.

Friendly and quiet
Reviewed By traveggieThis place is more like a B & B then a hotel. It is in easy walking distance from the beautifull historical centre of Bad Wimpfen. Parking is free, next to the hotel and there is a small terrace with a nice view, to sit and have a drink outside when the weather is good. It is a friendly, family run place. Our room on the second floor was spacious, quiet with a nice view. On the downside the pillows were to soft, which is a personal preference and both days there was an old toothpaste stain in the drinking glass in the bathroom, which is a bit slack in these Covid days.

Nice hotel with great breakfast

It was difficult to find a parking place, and it was even more difficult because staff did not speek english very well. Beatiful city surrounding the hotel, good restaurants. Nice castle with a view nearby.

Reviewed By durak6We greatly enjoyed our stay at this friendly hotel. This is a very cozy unpretentious place with a very friendly and helpful host. Well located and within a short walk to the supermarket and town centre in a quiet residential neighbourhood. Herr Wolf was very helpful to help us get our cell phone working and was responsive to our needs. Breakfast was very good and our host offered to deliver our luggage to the dock in the afternoon as we were departing on the "Patria" for our Bike and Barge adventure on Neckar and Rhine rivers. Throughout our travels in Germany this was our most memorable stay. The host is fluent in English

Beautiful Stay in the Altstadt
Reviewed By Kate ALocation was absolutely perfect - it's in the center of the altstadt which is where we wanted to be. Lovely for a quiet, peaceful stay. The beds were EXTREMELY comfortable and the service was very courteous. Breakfast was wonderful, and we wish we would have stayed longer. I will say that if you're visiting Bad Wimpfen you should have knowledge of German - there are not a lot of fully English speaking residents. Which honestly made the experience so much better - not touristy and a beautiful city.

Reviewed By Eoin HMyself and some friends stayed at Grüner Baum Hotel while traveling through Germany. We were immediately made feel comfortable and welcome (coming from Ireland this is important). The rooms were immaculate, spacious and comfortable. Food was delicious and the service was fantastic. I would highly recommend anyone to stay here. 5 stars

Reviewed By 101studinGästehaus Fernblick the dependence of the Hotel Am Rosengarten. The room was spacious enough, bed comfortable and the bathroom well equipped. The room included a large balcony. WiFi signal was sufficiently strong. Breakfast is served in the main building and I can say that it was a "small wedding reception". Definitely can not go wrong if you stay in Fernblick.
