Eenvoudig, kleine maar nette kamer
Reviewed By martinlegtenbergInchecken moet je bij het restaurant dat er naast ligt. Als het restaurant nog gesloten is, moet je even bellen en dan komt er wel iemand om je in te schrijven en naar je kamer te brengen. De kamer was klein, maar best netjes. De douche was ook in orde, maar wel met een douchegordijn, wat ik zelf niet zo prettig vindt. Flatscreen TV, Wifi zijn ook aanwezig. Ontbijten moet je bij de bakker aan de andere kant van de straat. Dat is ook een prima ontbijtplek met lekker brood en niet te duur. Gratis parkeren bij hotel.

Really basic living, clean but old

Rooms are old, but clean Bathrooms small with a small shower cabin Only WIFI in the restaurant area Breakfast is very basic and but sufficient, the restaurant is quite good for a cheap but well cooked meal In general I would not use again as hotel but I eat in the restaurant quite frequently and is happy with the value for money

Fire but no staff in sight
Reviewed By CarstenBJ456Staying at the 10th floor and the fire alarm goes. On the way down cleaning staff is almost knocking over guests to get out first. We do not see the staff or the manager at any time and there is absolutely no information or evacuation instructions. Almost seemed as if front desk staff did not give a damn. I will never come back to a hotel that has no control of such situations. In addition stuff from the celing in wellness is lying all over the floor in the wellnes area and coming into the water too

Perfectly Good Hotel
Reviewed By Walter AI needed to stay in Bad Segeberg at pretty short notice and this was the highest rated hotel that wasn't stratospherically expensive. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by how nice it was. The free Wifi is good and plenty quick enough for web browsing and e-mail. And it's free. Which is not that usual in Germany. The staff were all very pleasant and breakfast was decent enough, although the hotel could learn a lot about German breakfast from the much more modest Pension I usually stay in when I'm in Germany (it was too far south on this occasion). The room was good, with a couple of plugs available to charge my phone and laptop. It was clean and, if you like ludicrously powerful showers, this is the hotel for you. It was like having a fire hose pointing at me! I just turned it down, obviously, and it's nice to have to report too much water pressure for a change. I would definitely stay in the Residence again and I would recommend it to anyone who wanted a good hotel at a reasonable price.

Reviewed By riogrande007Ich war für eine Nacht geschäftlich im Turmzimmer. Das Hotel ist sehr sauber und sehr gepflegt. Man sieht dass hier jemand Liebe rein gesteckt hat. Die Gastgeber sind gut erreichbar und das automatisierte Check in funktioniert perfekt. Ich würde es auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen.

Op doorreis
Reviewed By GrotehaasVanwege een vakantie hier overnacht (op doorreis dus eigenlijk) Zeer vriendelijke eigenaresse, zeer late check-in mogelijk. Accommodatie ligt in een woonwijk dus heerlijk rustig en voldoet aan alle eisen. Schoon, groot, goed sanitair en fijne bedden (vonden wij, hoewel we het 2 persoons bed wat aan de kleine/smalle kant vonden, maar gelukkig was de kamer zo groot dat er een extra bed stond) We maakten geen gebruik van het ontbijt dus kunnen dat niet beoordelen. Er is overigens een keukentje buiten de kamer wat je mag gebruiken.

Hotel? Die Dachkammern sind eine Zumutung
Reviewed By KlausJKAuf der Suche nach einer reinen Übernachtungsmöglichkeit sind wir auf das Hotel Gutschmecker gestoßen. Die gute Nachricht vorweg: der Fotograf hat bei den Zimmern im Dachgeschoss ganze Arbeit geleistet. Was hier auf den Fotos im Web nach Zimmer aussieht, ist in Wirklichkeit eher ein Speicher-Kämmerchen, das fast nur aus Schräge besteht. Der Aufzug geht nur bis in die erste Etage. Das Treppenhaus ist steil und eng. Der Koffertransport ist für nicht ganz fitte Menschen eine Qual. Im Zimmer ist aufrechtes Stehen vor dem Badezimmerspiegel und neben dem Bett für normalwüchsige Gäste unmöglich. Selbst am Fußende des Bettes ist aufrechtes Vorbeigehen nicht möglich, weil der Fernseher im Weg hängt. Der Platz auf dem Zimmerboden reicht kaum, um einen Koffer aufzuklappen. Das Bett wurde nach der ersten Nacht nicht gemacht. Wir kommen sicher nicht mehr wieder.
