Reviewed By tallden77Clean room, friendly staff and great breakfast! I couldnt ask for more . The only problem we had there was we spoke very little German and the host spoke little English so sometimes it took a little time to understand each other. I would still go right back there when we visit my wifes Aunt living there.

Great room and even better food
Reviewed By LikeLivingThereWe spent two nights here and can't fault a thing. Our room was squeaky clean, quiet and comfortable. Yes, it's typically Spartan, but everything was in great condition. The only glitch was self-inflicted; we arrived so late that it was difficult in the dark to find our way to the room, which is in one of several buildings in the complex. Actually in the tiny village of Suthfeld, this hotel thankfully has an excellent restaurant, where we ate both nights. With no nearby competition you might think they'd slack off, but everything on the traditional menu was very well-prepared and nicely flavored. My weiner schnitzel was not pounded thin, but was exceptionally tender, with a light, non-greasy breading. The included breakfast buffet was generous and varied, and the coffee was appropriately strong. Would definitely stay here again.

We have sent you lots of reminders and even consulted a lawyer to request payment, but you do not respond at all. This is very bad service. Please act immediately and give us our money back.

Nice, well equipped rooms, comfortable spa and perfect service

The 'service location is next to the center and close to the hiking trails of the “Deister”-Area (the reason for our trip). We had a large, well equipped room with a water heater, bathrobes and a fruit platter. We enjoyed the up-to-date spa with an indoor pool, steam bath and sauna. And above all we were impressed by the very flexible, helpful and friendly service.

Grand on the outside & great value
Reviewed By KitchenSandyI stayed here just for one night and could see some period splendor in the beautiful staircases straight away! Unfortunately the faint smell of drains hit us upon entering the room which appeared very clean but quite dated and with few mod cons. Being tired, I didn't notice the TV on the window sill behind the curtains but have to say, the bed was really comfortable with huge pillows and slept like a baby. The breakfast was a nice mix of continental & cereals, with scrambled egg and sausage available with a variety of lovely fresh bread. Upon leaving the hotel, we were able to see what a gorgeous building it is and just feel it needs a little t.l.c in some of the rooms to help the bedrooms match the splendor of the exterior. All in all a very comfortable stay and wouldn't mind staying there again especially when you see it's about a half the price of a premier inn! Well worth a try if you want to be within an easy drive of Hanover airport!

Reviewed By TribalValWe booked this appart/hotel several months in advance through Expedia who confirmed the booking to us with the instructions to call the property with our arrival time. When we duly called the property, they claimed they could not find the booking nor did they deal with Expedia. Unaware to us at the time , they had already taken the money from the credit card a week before. This is truly a waste of time as Expedia and us try to get our money back, a scam by any measure which can ruin a holiday.
