Wu

This place opened recently and is quickly becoming a favorite lunch spot in the area. The menu offers a great selection of sushi, soups, and other Asian dishes.Everything is reasonably priced, but the best deals are found with the bento boxes. Full meals, plus a choice between two soups, all priced between 7,90 and 10,90 euro. Everything is available for eat in or carry out. TIP: For lunch, go between 11:00 and 12:00. From 12:00 on it slows down as it starts to get crowded and fresh sushi takes time to prepare, so wait times are a bit longer.

Had dinner tonight, was looking for something other than pizza or wienerschnitzel, and stumbled across Wu. Food was great, surprisingly authentic, tasty, and fresh. They even served hot sake.. We live in London, I visit Japan regularly for business and this is (for the price) some of the best basic Japanese sushi I've had outside of Tokyo.Price is an absolute bargain, 2 of us stuffed ourselves and spent €30. You can't beat that. The only problem was that the moment you walk in you can tell your clothes, hair, everything is going to reek of cooking oil afterwards. They are running fryers and don't have proper extractor fans. We've had this problem before in Europe. In the US, Asia and the big European cities everyone realises no matter what temperature it is outside you have to have industrial-strength extraction from the kitchen and you have to ventilate fresh air in if you are going to run deep fryers. It could so easily have been a 5 star with extra merit for amazing value. Come-on guys, get the extractor fans running!!

We use this restaurant once or twice a week, for lunch or dinner. Although there are many delicious, freshly cooked dishes on the menu, it serves the best Thai red curry as far as Rosenheim! It is fantastic value for money and excellent food take away or eat in.
