Wir waren im Juni 2018 im Rahmen einer Wanderung im Gasthaus Pfänderspitze. Es befindet sich ca. 5 Gehminuten bergaufwärts von der Bergstation der Pfänderbahn. Wir haben einen Tisch direkt an der Brüstung mit wunderschönem Blick auf den Bodensee bekommen und konnten hier die Abendsonne genieÃen. Es handelt sich um ein Gasthaus mit Selbstbedienung. Wir hatten "nur" Getränke, insofern kann ich zum Essen nichts sagen. Der Ausblick von der Terrasse ist jedoch traumhaft.

The restaurant is really cosy, the food was very good at reasonable prices. They were really quick to accueil and serve us. We were on our journey back home, still a lot to drive, and this stop was really precious and the quick service appreciated.

From the cable way station on top of the mountain, you have to walk about 10 Minutes towards the top. Here you see the cute mountain restaurant. It's self service and if there are many people, it does take it's time, however, it's worth it.My recommendation: if your are there with your partner, look for a nice place first and one of you sit down, were the other one is getting you something from the counter.

Friendly service, a good selection of meals but not many vegetarian choices. It's super to enjoy the view of the lake even when it's raining or slightli chilla - the patio has a roof and is heated.

We only had one night in Lindau and our hotel had recommended 3 or 4 restaurants in the town (for German cuisine) and as this one was only a couple hundreds away from where we were staying we choose to eat here. The restaurant had quite a few tables in its rear garden, so although we had not booked and the place was busy (and this was a Monday) we got a table no problem. I got the impression there were a few locals eating here as well as us tourists. We tried struggling with the German menu but in the end we asked for an English menu. The service was good despite it being busy and there were only one or two staff doing the waiting. I had the local fish which was nice as was the chicken that my wife had. So there were one or two variants to the normal German menu and I think that the good was the most arty we had had during our trip.With a couple of beers, soft drink and coffee the hill came to just over 50 euros, which has been the going rate for us. So this was a good pointer by our hotel, we would recommend it.

We picked this restaurant from the trip Advisor reviews and wernt dissapointed. The food is good quality German fair. Not expensive.One thing surprised us at first is that we were sharing a table with another couple. Once we got over that, it was interesting to meet some locals (and this does appear to be a local's spot) and made for an interesting evening.We enjoyed the meal sufficiently that we went back the following evening as there was plenty of options to choose from the menu.

I arrived quite late from Munich and the staff were VERY welcoming and despite the restaurant closing soon, I was given a menu to get a meal which was really good and very tasty thus setting me up for a sleep. A good wholesome breakfast really set me up for the day and for me it was the highlight of my European travels this time around.Excellent!!

We sat outside at this restaurant on its ample covered terrace; there were pleasant views over the lake and all in all it was a very pleasant experience.The service however was slow and not desperately friendly; but this was balanced by a great soup, some excellent vegetarian pasta and a delicious dessert.Iâd certainly come again, but my top tip would be âDonât be in a rushâ

We ate here on our last night staying on the campsite on whose grounds this restaurant sits. However it is entirely independent. As with other reviews this was also one of our nicest meals on our German holiday. This restaurant specialises in BBQ with a number of sophisticated smokers and types of BBQs. They also have a full menu of other items including burgers steaks and Pasta . We had a soup of the day a lovely creamy horseradish soup, I had the ribs with a southern US style whiskey sauce and my wife the schnitzel. Service was great again the best on our trip with an attentive waitress for whom nothing was too much trouble, a side of slaw for my ribs not on the menu.
