Wir waren schön öfter zum Essen hier. War eigentlich immer ok. Aber dieses mal war das Essen nicht mehr als unterer Durchschnitt. Das ganze hatte was von Massenabfertigung !! Der "Apfelstrudel mal anders" war ne Frechheit ! Für über 60 Euro für 2 Personen , erwarte ich eigentlich mehr als das was dort geboten wurde !

I arrived quite late from Munich and the staff were VERY welcoming and despite the restaurant closing soon, I was given a menu to get a meal which was really good and very tasty thus setting me up for a sleep. A good wholesome breakfast really set me up for the day and for me it was the highlight of my European travels this time around.Excellent!!

First of all, the mountain views from the Adlerâs deck on a late-summer afternoon are breathtaking. Paired with an incredible kitchen and thoughtful staff the experience is simply remarkable. Having hiked up the Pfänder with locals who know about this wonderful restaurant, I consider myself lucky. This is by far one of the best meals that I have had in Europe. Thank you, Alexander! It was worth the trip and I cannot wait to come back again, hopefully soon. I highly recommend a visit.

Good selection of local dishes and drinks at reasonable prices in pleasant surroundings (Old mansion with many original features). Outdoor terrace/beer garden if the weather is nice. Separate bar area where smokers can light up inside but plenty of room elsewhere for non-smokers. Cheaper and better alternative to eat and drink than adjacent Hotel Germania.

In the Pfaenderdohle you'll find a homely atmosphere and especially by good weather conditions you'll feel comfortable sitting outside on the terrace. The service is always friendly that you can feel really welcome and handled like a valuable guest.

Friendly service, a good selection of meals but not many vegetarian choices. It's super to enjoy the view of the lake even when it's raining or slightli chilla - the patio has a roof and is heated.

We ate here on our last night staying on the campsite on whose grounds this restaurant sits. However it is entirely independent. As with other reviews this was also one of our nicest meals on our German holiday. This restaurant specialises in BBQ with a number of sophisticated smokers and types of BBQs. They also have a full menu of other items including burgers steaks and Pasta . We had a soup of the day a lovely creamy horseradish soup, I had the ribs with a southern US style whiskey sauce and my wife the schnitzel. Service was great again the best on our trip with an attentive waitress for whom nothing was too much trouble, a side of slaw for my ribs not on the menu. We sat outside at this restaurant on its ample covered terrace; there were pleasant views over the lake and all in all it was a very pleasant experience.The service however was slow and not desperately friendly; but this was balanced by a great soup, some excellent vegetarian pasta and a delicious dessert.Iâd certainly come again, but my top tip would be âDonât be in a rushâ

Food is tasty & portions decent, yet it is nothing super special that would take your breath away. Good place for a quick lunch, no so much for a romantic dinner...
