We had the grilled meat menu with different types of meat and a chocolate fondue for dessert. The children loved that they could choose different kinds of meat and watch it on the grill. And the chocolate fondue was, of course, even more popular. Nice local place and friendly service too.

The restaurant is near the main parking place in Sport Gastein.You can stay inside or outside where you will be served at the same level and quality as inside. The restaurant doesnât provide self-service what is good! So you can enjoy the great atmosphere of the mountains â btw. According to my opinion Sport Gastein is the most beautiful part of the Gastein valley.Food â great quality for reasonable price. Everything we took was perfectly fresh from great ingredients and tasted amazingly. Service â no complains â very professional, fast, kind and helpful. Locality â you should walk a bit from the lift but it definitely worth walking. In conclusion â we took a car ride from Bad Gastein to eat there thatâs how we loved that restaurant.

Visited in Summer, lovely weather to sit out side. We could enjoy some strudel and drinks and look out over the play garden where our son could play. Great swing with gorgeous backdrop of snow capped mountains and the himmelwand side of the mountain. It's a lovely 15-20 min hike from the parking lot.

Went here a couple of years ago and had a couple of good dinners. The food now is even better, service very good too and I would definitely recommend it for a modern take on classical Austrian ingredients. Disappointed I can't fit it in again before leaving.

After reading reviewes, Regina was the obvious choice for our stake dinner. I have never been this disappointed visiting a restaurant after a tripadvisor rating before... We had different dishes, some barely eatable and some really really bad.. starters and main course.. some of us cancelled the dessert - not worth it.stay away.

We walked the walking road along the river from Bad Gastein and stopped here for a lunch.The food was really good and the portions large. My potato soup was excellent.

What can I say.......... POORPoor service - had to wait unreasonable time for our food to arrive.When it did it was poor.Steak was poor, pepper sauce was poor, chips were poor (frozen?!?), poor baked potato with a poor sauce.An evening wasted......Donât make a poor choice - avoid this place!!!!Dear Kitty!Thank you for your refreshing criticism. We checked also your reviews from other restaurants and saw, about how many restaurants you say that they are really bad or poor. It looks a bit, you like to bring some restaurants down because all your bad reviews never go on details. Also in our case i heard you didnt complain during this evening that we would have the chance, to give better service to you. It is one thing to criticize the service or the food of a restaurant, but its a other thing to aks other people to "avoid" a place. Dont forget, there are always staff who works in restaurants, waiters, cooks, dishwashesr, cleaningpersonal ect.. who in the most cases try to give their best. They life from their jobs and have maybe family and children. I guess you are young, you think its funny, or you feel a little bit important when you can write reviews like this. Maybe when you are older you will see, its more important only to enjoy a nice evening with friends or family in a restraurant, instead writing this kind of reviews all the time. I dont think at all that our food or service is poor, to be honest i think the only real "poor" thing in this case is your writing.

We went as a group of 4 for dinner. We ordered Pumpkin Soup, Deep Fried Mushrooms, Risotto, Apple strudel. The food was excellent, the portions were generous, although I would have preferred a larger portion of the soup (the best pumpkin soup I have ever tasted !). Everything was nicely presented and the owner was fabulous. He was very friendly, attentive and very helpful with explaining the menu. We were given a choice of tables and he was even willing to open the separate dining room/area just for us ! ( I have been to a few restaurants where they would not let you sit where you want !). We were also lucky to find an empty parking space just outside. We will definitely have dinner there again.

Nice wooden restaurant with a open fire right in the middle. Over three floors so if youâre unlucky you have to navigate down three narrow flights or stairs to get to the toilet.Foodâs pretty good although the meat in the Goulash soup was a little grisly.Quite fun to do the toboggan run from here (costs â¬6.50 per person) using the old one-man chair lift!!Dear Guest,thank you for being part of our legend.Thank you for your comments.It is not possible in a historic building to have toilets on every level. sorry for that.Hope to see pou soon on a lower level :-)AnastasiaManager

Went there because of good ratings on TripAdvisor and were not disappointed at all. It's been one of the best restaurant experience lately. Food was delicious, service was superb and there were nice views of the town and mountains. Simply a very good experience. Highly recommend.
