Welcome to one of the most beautiful places in Carinthia. Whether you enjoyed the view on the tower or have used one of the many hiking trails around the Pyramidenkogel. It's a pleasure to have you here! Here above we spoil you with our GenussWirt classic
At the foot of the Pyramidekogel restaurant "Genusswirt" is located, luckily with outdoor tables. (It was glorious weather). We enjoyed a sit-down at an outdoor table with drinks and scanned the menu. This restaurant is a typical restaurant, connected with a highly frequented tourist attraction. It is convenient, but not a restaurant to make an effort to visit. Not good and not bad. Service of the staff was on the same level. Politely processing the tourists.

We live in Portschach am Worthersee so have visited this restaurant a few times. It has a lovely view. Food is very good and the lunch special is incredibly good value for money.

We've visited the Lapidarium over the last three years. It was really good last year but the standard has dropped. Penne Al arabiata was ok but Lasagne was quite awful with very little meat.

Since we had lunch at âPrincSâ on a Saturday, there was, of course, no menu of the day but only the regular menu. However, we were surprised to be informed by the friendly waiter at the very beginning that pizzas and a few other dishes on the regular menu would only be available âlaterâ, which might presumably have meant âin the eveningâ. We did not know whether this was always the case or was due to some kind of technical problem in the kitchen. At any rate, this reduced the choice of dishes to be had to a few pasta, wok and salad dishes, some of them vegetarian, but the majority with meat.We were seated in the stylish restaurant area, which seemed to have been refurbished recently. Its design dominated by various shades of beige and brown was fairly sober. The tables were laid with white tablecloths and the room looked quite elegantly. Both the salad with beef and the vegetarian wok we had were nicely dressed and were served after only a moderate waiting time. There was nothing special about them, but they tasted fine and portions were of ordinary size. Apart from the limited choice of dishes, the only real downside of this restaurant were the prices, which appeared to be somewhat too high for lunchtime, even by city standards.

Really good ristorante in the centre of Krumpendorf. Rather big choice, excellent food, but a little slow service. Big outdoor terrace, where pleasant to sit, and eat on the fresh air.

The restaurant seems to be run by the long established and excellent Wienerroither cafe/patisserie in the village (see below). The menu is extensive particularly for those who like pizzas

We've tried several restaurants in Klagenfurt over the course of the past year or so and were more or less disappointed in most cases. La Bottega quickly saved the day, though! We've eaten here twice so far and both times, the food was delightful - the Filettini Bottega with mushrooms (or with truffles on top!) are really tasty, the tiramisu is to die for and the Pana Cotta with just a hint of rum-flavor is brilliant as well. All of their food feels like it is very carefully prepared with only the best ingredients. The staff is Italian and while one of our visits was better than the other in that regard, I'd say that overall the waiters are still very friendly and provide a good service. The inside of the restaurant is modern, but cosy - my only "complaint" is that it gets quite busy in late afternoon/early evening, so it can get crowded indoors. There is outdoor seating available in the summer. The price-range is perfectly reasonable (around 10-15⬠per main course).

The restaurant is right on the main street, so very convenient if you are looking for someplace to walk. The staff is super friendly, the food is okay, but nothing special, although perhaps it was just our choices.
Top 10 Mediterranean food in Krumpendorf am Worther See, Austria
A terrible dinner experience. I had a bacon cheeseburger with a terrible beef patty, but the worst was the vegetarian burger, ordered by my partner, which came with plastic in the middle! When we reported this situation to the waitress her reaction was simply "ops, sorry". Really poor service.
