Reviewed By WstrawberryNice hotel, rooms are fine, maybe a little dated but staff were mostly very good, we did have good communication beforehand about a late night check in. There’s good breakfast selection. We did like the bar that was attached to the hotel. It’s in a quiet area, approx 20 min taxi to down town Amman.

Reviewed By Myo MApart from a nice-enough room (space to move around comfortably and also bigger rooms for higher prices) and a "pretty good" breakfast, what I'll remember most about staying at this hotel is having met the "excellent manager" of the place to whom I'll always be grateful for my 3 wonderful day tours at "reasonable prices" in the hotel car driven by him (the first to Jerash & Royal Automobile Museum, the second to Mount Nebo & the Dead Sea, and the third to the "3 desert castles" to the east) and who also provided additional great services (obtaining the Jett bus ticket to Petra, transport to that bus station in the early morning & finally transport to the Airport upon checkout for leaving the country). So yes, the "best part" of staying at this hotel for anyone, I would say, will be meeting its manager (thank you so very much, Hani). And with that being said, another nice thing about this hotel I was quite pleased by is its location in the vicinity of the Old Town (just about a 5-minute walk to the right after coming down from this hotel) with plenty of miscellaneous shops including restaurants & small grocery places, and yes also located at a very short taxi ride from this hotel (just 5 minutes or so) is the city's "number-one site" which is the Citadel (with also another great site which is the Roman Amphitheater pretty much right at the bottom of the Citadel hill).

Reviewed By GerrySA-57We have not stayed at Rafi, but we were 2 weary travelers who happened upon the hotel in search of tea. The manager invited us in and although he was closed due to COVID, proceeded to serve us tea and allowed us to rest in his lounge for a while. He then would take NO payment. If this is the type of kindness and hospitality he offers, we will certainly consider staying at Rafi is we return to Amman in the future. Thank you again for your luv and kindness

Reviewed By 98alicebI was in Cliff hotel 2 night with mah family. Everyone here was Very nice, the shower Very hot and clean. They help us for organize day trip. In front there is good and cheap famus restaurant and all actrattion are very near. A will be back!

OK for the money
Reviewed By qqq12345As others have said, this place needs a serious revamp. We changed rooms following our first nights stay which we arrived for at 1am so didnt want a fuss at that time. However during that night & in the morning we noticed amongst other things the bathroom door handle hanging off to such an extent that the "turning bar" could easily have fallen out & you'd be locked in, the curtain rail hanging down & hence the cutain not covering the window, stains (blood??) on the sheet, cigarette burns on the sheets & in the bathroom plus the shower screen was not too pleasant with a considerable amount of mould & stains. The next morning however, the lady at reception, without us saying anything, immediately stated that the night guy had put us in the wrong room & that she wanted us to move rooms to a "better one". Whilst this one was significantly better without many of the issues listed above, the bathroom again had stains around the shower screen & taps. The breakfast were very good & apart from them serving hot milk for my tea, thoroughly enjoyed it. Good location, good & free WIFI & OK for the money once the room was changed.

Very pleasant experience for a first time

Overall, the experience was VERY pleasant. * Location is very good if you are looking to be in the center of Amman * Staff is very pleasant * Room was clean and spacious enough - to my standards * Tried a few dishes at the restaurant and they were REALLY excellent (try the grilled prawns for ex., to me, they are absolutely stunning in their accompanying sauce) One things to keep in mind is that the place is also a restaurant... so during summer days, at night, guests can stay around late... So if you wanna sleep early and have difficulties to fall asleep when there is noise outside, depending of your room location in the hotel, you might have issues, despite the thick windows (I didn't have any issue to fall asleep myself, despite guests still being outside). The only minus for me is the breakfast... Honestly, nothing to write home about...but I consider Bonita as a mid-range hotel for Amman... so I understand some things have to give sometimes. So overall, a very pleasant experience, although not everything was top notch (again, breakfast can eaaaaaasily be improved). But (1) being in the center of Amman and (2) at reasonable prices, and (3) with a very pleasant staff, I'll come back there again.

It is a distance from the Old city, but hotel staff always arranged a taxi for me, which arrived in minutes and cost less than 2JD. Almost everything about the hotel is perfect, but the over-riding memory is the huge Jordanian welcome and help I received from the front desk. They were unbeatable. Rooms are generous, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was adequate. If I come back to Amman I will definitely look nowhere else. Thank you.

LCD TV are standard in each of the suites and rooms and a spacious bathroom with shower. Free WiFi available in everywhere of hotel. Cocktails and ice cream can be enjoyed on our Restaurant & Cafe ( Ahwet Panorama ) while soft drinks and hot drinks are available in the coffee bar. Panorama's restaurant serves local and international cuisine for breakfast, lunch and dinner. A breakfast buffet is served daily in the restaurant, and includes a variety choices. The 24-hour reception staff can arrange excursions as well as car rentals & flight ticket service. Airport shuttles are available to Queen Alia International Airport, a 25- minute drive away. Sweifeih Markets district is just a 5-minute by walk. Covered free parking is provided on site.
