Reviewed By 354judimEau Vive is an hotel attempting to revive the charme of the old days. Many authentic elements in the interior, while the chambers have the standard modern comfort. It's the quality of the service and the food that has a lot of missed opportunities. The restaurant has a poor price-quality balance, with expensive ingredients (over)cooked in a poor way. Breakfast is ok. We woke up every morning at 7.30 because of the staff loud way of cleaning of among other the fireplace below our room. When we gave the feedback, they did not take us seriously, althoud they confirmed the fireplace is cleaned at that exact same time. when i suggested to clean it later in the day, as the comfort of guests was suffering, we got the response: 'the owners like a strict timing, so no possibility to change the time'.. so doubt if the feedback was passed on. The owner we were in touch with at the reception at a different moment was also not really responding friendly to questions about the lunch package, rather annoyed. So it's a pity, but the hospitality at the hotel is not at the level of what is needed to make guests feel welcome, rather functional. It a beautiful environment, but not reaching it's potential due to a lack of hospitality and willingness to make your stay comfortable.

Reviewed By stefanvU3442YOGreat place. We have been there several times. Great kitchen, charming bedrooms and a lot of hiking roads. Special decoration in the dining room. All kind of painted chickens. Breakfast is based on a buffet with all you need.

Situated on a hill near the stream "La Semois", Orchimont is a quiet village and the place to be for walkers, nature lovers, but also for sporty types such as cyclists, bikers, mountain bikers and kayak enthusiasts.

Reviewed By annvdveldeNice terrace to enjoy a drink. Very fresh food good prepared! We didn't stay at this hotel. Several possibilities to walk and to bike in this village. You can also visit the Bison Farm nearby and participate to a guided tour.

Reviewed By Rafael MFantastic stay with everything of top quality. A quiet spot with a beautiful view right next to the forest. The hosts are super friendly, the room super cozy, the breakfast super generous with home-baked breads. Steven is a chef and makes a 3-course dinner on request the day before. It's definitely an "I'll be back" kind of place!
