One would not think that a hotel restaurant would be that good. But the locals pointed us to this place. It has a nice outdoor Terrace overlooking the Semois river. The only thing gastronomic about this place is the nice wording on the menu. The "emulsion" accompanying the egg starter felt more like a cream soup. I ordered my beef medium-rare but received it well-done. The whole place felt a bit like a factory: we arrived at exactly 7pm and were the very first table to order. By 7:15pm about 15 other groups had arrived. By 7:45pm we were still waiting for our starters. The waiters were quite nice, but the superintendent looked like he'd been forced to work that evening. We felt we paid too much for what we got (especially when compared to some other restaurants we tried in the region). We will not return.

A little pricey but affordable for what you get. Free parking. After your meal walk around the restaurant and the other buildings. They are beautiful, well kept and the gardening is nice. Don't miss the beautiful views.

This Italian restaurant is a top location in the area for Pizza and Italian cuisine ( aside there is also fish and steaks on the menu ). Value for money, friendly staff and manager. Groups and families are welcome and it is a busy place, especially in the WE because of the many Ardennes tourists and the locals folks taking their WE evening out. The menu has many different pizzas to offer. All food is OK and because of the many customers always fresh. The pizza oven is in the restaurant so that you can see the chef preparing and baking your order(s). A family and group friendly restaurant. Pets ( when they behave ) are admitted and welcome.

We ate here on a friday evening, a busy evening! We did not reserve but where lucky to get a table anyway. The service was very friendly, even while we did not speak french. The food was excellent and for a fair price.

We were drawn in by a sign for the set menu at €16 which was a surprisingly low figure for quite a classy restaurant. (The kind of place which already has 4 different types of glasses on the table which they then take away when you only want water (or in our case the very drinkable house red)!). Looking at the the full menu, we got worried we had misread the sign as the normal prices were very expensive, even set menus were from €45 up. Anyway we got cream of chicory soup, fresh trout with nice vegetables, coffee and chocolates for desert and it was all good. The service was informal and very friendly despite the pretentious decor and the dedicated wine waiter, but we didn't really relax until the bill came at the expected price! Don't know if this was a one-off out of season on a quiet mid-week night, or a regular deal - but if you see an offer here at around that price, take it - the chef knows what he's doing and it's excellent value for the area. I guess if it's in your budget the full deal would be well worth a try too, only the wine prices seemed very excessive.

Most restaurants in town don't look very appealing, but this one did caught our eye. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff and quite tasty food, all for a very decent price. Certainly worth a visit.

Ok de gerookte zalm en de pate de foie zijn ok, we kwamen voor de zeetong maar die bleek na het bestellen niet voorradig, erg slordig!
De forel en de eend waren matig. Mini stukje broccoli en geen saus, matige frites en diepvries gratin, niet echt top. De hotel gasten krijgen voorrang. Kortom geen aanrader!
