Reviewed By LorBurekWe had a lovely overnight here and ate takeout in the room at the table and chairs provided. Lots of counter space and outlets and a fridge Close to beach. We were greeted warmly and enjoyed the hanging baskets filled with flowers. very nice

The delicious breakfast with an abundance of fresh, seasonal fruit was prepared and presented with love. Our host was friendly and we enjoyed wonderful conversations with him both mornings we were there.

The ambience was really nice, the lobster was fresh and very tasty and accompanied by a dish of fresh vegetables. The service was exceptional by our waitress Joline who showed two fairly inexperienced English people how to get the best out of our lobsters. A brilliant evening.

Reviewed By xuobuobThis bed and breakfast is just a wonderful cocoon, where every thing is perfect : Marcus and Brigitte are so nice, cats are fluffy, bed are comfy, landscape is gorgeous and breakfast handmade and delicious. We have such interesting talks with our hosts, and they even offer to drive us to our next travel stop as we are going by hitchhiking. Thank you so much for every thing, too bad we didn't spend more time here !! Francois and Maïwenn.

Disappointing - not the quality the website boasts
Reviewed By Shannon CI booked a king suite online, but I received a personal call from management advising that they "upgraded" me from suite 204 to 201. The lovely gentleman on the phone indicated that these rooms have been recently renovated a week before and that suite 201 is much nicer, so he wanted to upgrade us. Rate is $179 per night, so between this and the personal call, I was really expecting an amazing stay. Ummm, nope. A "suite" usually consists of a king bed, and a small sitting area. The room is tiny, a king bed with a very uncomfortable mattress (hard as a rock), a little wooden folding chair against the desk with the tv is what you get for the 'suite'. The room looked out onto Main Street (view of Home Hardware and a parking lot) NO BLINDS! There is a spotlight on the roof of the veranda pointing into the room, and all the lights from the parking lot and Home Hardware, so needless to say, the room is bright all night. The glass shower doors have not been installed properly, so they kept coming off the track, so you get stuck in the shower with the door locked up.. So guys, maybe rethink what a "suite" is, get a comfortable mattress, and put some blinds up. We were exhausted the next day from sleeping in dawn like daylight on a hard mattress. The website states that you get plush bathrobes, there were none in our "upgraded suite". I really wish I could have stayed my original room that I booked, at least 204 was in the back of the building, might have been a little darker. So thanks but no thanks for my "upgrade"

Reviewed By jenne hFront desk staff was nice. My credit cards would not work in their machine. There was a man sitting on the couch in our room playing on his phone. I think he may have been maintenance. He seemed bothered that we interrupted him. We were creeped out a bit. The room was like a bake oven because the A/C was not on. Also it was not big enough to keep the whole room cool. It also made the worst noise like a trickling faucet. The shower had 2 su stantial cracks in it, there was hair in the tub, dead mosquitos on the wall and the paint was peeling off of the ceiling. The barn door was super cute though. The ceiling had about 30 crack-fill spots and there was a 2ft patch on the wall too. The room needs some work before people should stay in it. Perhaps finishing the paint job?? It had a desk which was nice. Even if there was a q-tip and extra hardware in the drawer. It was in a decent location with lots to do around you and a the best donair available at the restaurant next door. I paid $162 taxes included for a room that should have been no more than $69/ night.

Reviewed By Global40437191816This motel is pretty crusty. The pool room smells weird, the bathroom is pretty dated, and our room was pretty dingy. Other than a few other minor things, this motel is a pretty fun place to stay if you are visiting Shediac. The staff is always friendly, and the motel is close to a lot of restaurants.
