Nightmare
Reviewed By MelvinR22My family had a horrible nightmare when we were in the room already installed, another guest entered our room and it was that the person at the front desk had given him the same room. They do not have security control in the rooms in the case that by mistake, they can give access to another guest and they did not recognize their mistake, nor did they apologize.

Reviewed By chloepO5700HOthere is NO WIFI in the apartment. UNSAFE : the windows DO NOT LOCK, anyone can open them from the outside and enter the apartment . the mattresses are wrapped in THICK PLASTIC which makes the bed HOT and UNCOMFORTABLE . the whole place is an EXPENSIVE SLUM .

Long stretches of soft sand and crystal clear waters entice. The possibilities for romance and adventure never end. But perhaps you’ll favor the approach that “doing nothing is everything.” Either way, you can’t stop smiling. Your dream vacation has just begun at our San Juan accommodations.
Apartment on the Beach at 8 Calle Santa Ana Ocean Park
Reviewed By tripandtripandOcean Park is quite a run-down area when you drive through the neighborhood to get to this particular place, but then you pull into the gated community where this apartment is located, and it's great. Very safe, security patrolling all the time, never a worry. The apartment we stayed in was a 30-second walk to Ocean Park Beach -- great beach with lots of windsurfers and a restaurant right there. Our rental did not include any breakfast which was fine for us as we had our own food. Kitchen area, eating area, pull out futon, queen bed, small bath. Lovely courtyard. Esther was very thorough in her directions to get us in our place as we arrived very late at night, and she was always very quick to respond if I had a question. Beach chairs/towels provided. 15 minutes from Old San Juan, 10 minutes from Santurce. Just a great spot to come back to after sightseeing all day and/or great place to spend a full day at the beach (or more!). We'd go back again.

I had to literally clean the pool myself as well as the other guest to use it, while staff watched us do it! 4 days there and never once did I see a worker clean that POOL .The sheets were stained, we didn’t have WiFi cause the workers didn’t know the password. Workers not very helpful and don’t really speak English stray dogs all over property one chased me. Was there for 4 days never got asked if my room needed to be clean had to clean it myself and get trash bags from them myself, even after calling them up to the room to show them the stained sheets the workers would NOT come up! People smoking cigarettes all over property! No toiletries are included except for paper toilet area NOT safe! No gate no nothing workers leave at 2 or 3 am and then ur basically on your own in a very bad neighborhood!!! No stores nothing convenient around everything is like half hour to hour away from the MOTEL. There were huge puddles of water around my room over all don’t recommend!

We tried to call the number listed on Expedia but it went straight to voicemail and had a message that the mailbox was full. We had to ask a few locals who were unsure but eventually pointed us to the right place. Be sure to read the email you are sent as there is no office or staff and the email has the security code to obtain the key. We are attaching a photo to help future guests. If you have ever lived in a developing country, this will be a step up. However, if you are looking for all of the ordinary conveniences of a hotel, you may be disappointed. The toilet does not work unless you fill the tank with water every time (we used the garbage can to do so) No hot water in either sink to wash your face or dishes. No bath soap. We had to use the antibacterial hand soap. Water in shower is comfortably warm if you turn it to the cold setting, but if you are hoping for a hot shower, it's not possible. Also there was hair clogging the drain from previous guests. We removed the hair but it still drains very slow. Room was very hot when we arrived although the AC was on. We left for dinner for 2 hours and upon return, it was still quite warm. Eventually cooled down at night. We stayed in the room at the rear of the property. We recommend backing in as it is very difficult to see if you have to back out of the property. No vale pena $99 No es un signo en el apartamento. LEE EL EMAIL ENVIADO POR EL PROPIETARIO porque no hay oficina o personas viviendo allí y el email tiene instrucciones para obtener la llave. La foto de abajo puede ayudar. Si ha vivido en un país en desarrollo, este será mejor. Pero si desea alojamiento con conveniencias ordinarias de un hotel, puede ser decepcionado. El inodoro no funciona. Tiene que llenar el tanque con agua cada vez. Puede llenar la basura con agua para esto. No hay agua caliente en el lavabo del baño ni lavabo de la cocina. No hay jabón de baño, solamente antibacterial jabón de mano. El agua en la ducha es tibia, pero no es caliente. Tiene que usar el ajuste en frío para recibir agua tibia. Hay pelo obstruyendo el desagüe. Eliminamos el pelo, pero el agua todavía se mueve despacio. AC fue encendido, pero el apartamento estaba muy caliente. Fuimos a cenar para dos horas, regresamos y todavía un poco caliente. Finalmente, alojamos en el edificio en la parte trasera de la propiedad. Recomendamos estacionar el coche al en reverso para que pueda salir fácilmente.
