We have 3 lagoon front cabanas. Anawasal has fantastic views and is close to isolated islands and beaches. You can learn to kitesurf right next door and we can also arrange on request dolphin watching and snorkeling excursions as well as stand up paddle boarding. You can also kitesurf right outside our property. Our onsite restaurant serves delicious local cuisine and if you have any dietary restrictions we will be happy to accommodate your requirements.

Reviewed By N3587ZBmiriamcNo words can describe this place properly. But I try it anyway. For us it was the best experience in whole Sri Lanka! My friend and I stayed there for 5 Days. Here you can have everything. Total relaxation just on the site (because there literally is everything you need, and if not they get it for you ;-)) or a lot of different tours which you can book with the hosts and go either by boat directly from the Jetty or by tuktuk directly from the property. There are tours to go through the mangroves by boat, a tour to watch dolphins (we've seen like hundreds), a tour to go to Wilpattu Nationalpark to do a safari, a beach tour, a Massage, Yoga on the property and so on... You really don't need to think about anything and you don't need to plan anything. Actually we had no plans when we came here and no idea what to do there but they got everything planned perfectly you just need to choose what you want to do one day ahead. Everything really was so comfortable we felt even better than at home. The rooms were perfectly clean and the interior nicely decorated. I loved the shower the most, cause you can look at the stars while showering <3. The hosts try to avoid garbage and especially plastics which made me very happy because I try to avoid plastics in my life too. And on top of all is the outstanding kitchen. The food there is amazing! We had the Sri Lankan dinner every day and it was something totally different each evening. So we could learn a lot about Sri Lankan cuisine. And if you like to drink a cocktail or something else, just ask for it they try to make it work. This place literally is Paradise! I can totally recommend it if you are looking for some quiet days or especially for honeymoon. You might think the prices are higher than at other places, but let you be told it is definitely worth it. You get much more than what you are paying for! This hospitality and kindness of the staff, the deep relaxation you get there and just the whole experience there in the middle of nowhere between the mangroves is a experience worth more than you can buy with money. Reviewed By Roving785032Two kitesurfers from UK really enjoyed our stay here with Thusitha and his team who did everything to make us feel comfortable and "at home". The cottage was a good size, clean with an outdoor bathroom. The breakfast was very good. Thusitha is an outstanding cook and brewed us up a lovely variety of vegetable dishes in the evening. Very tasty. We enjoyed hanging out at the resort, wifi was good and there was a nice vibe especially with the family of dogs who were great company. It was easy to enjoy the company of fellow guests and diners coming to the resort for the food and hospitality based on Thusitha's respected reputation in the village. We wish you all the best with your new resort and hope to return sometime in the future.

Reviewed By Moonbeam57Nice room and really quiet location with pleasant outlook. Basic room and facilities; inclusive drinking water a really nice extra. Food options ok but limited; minimal other options within walking distance. No evidence of bike hire which would be useful, otherwise a tuk tuk is needed to get anywhere (even the beach/lagoon is not really walking distance). Hosts welcoming but undergoing change - previous reviews of amazing and large food portions wasn't our experience for example, but we only stayed a couple of days.

Hotel located in Kalpitiya with beach access to the ocean and a 5 minute walk to the lagoon. After a great day of kiting, you can relax in your room overlooking the sea, at the bar, or at our restaurant serving both local and international cuisine. Each room is fan-cooled and has a balcony with a sea-view. Rooms have a private bathroom, free wifi, and either 1 double bed, or 2 twin beds. Free parking is available.
