Storforsen is Europe's largest undeveloped rapids and it is an incredible experience during any time of year. The rapids never fully freeze but during the Winter, amazing sculptures are naturally carved in the ice. During the Summer Storforsen really comes to life with the rushing water and the many swimming holes to stop and enjoy. There are many fire pits to rest at and have a fire or just sit and take in the sound of the powerful rapids. The gift shop offers many great local souvenirs. By booking our Aurora Sami inspired BBQ you are getting yourself into the 2-in-1 package experience. The experience divides into 2 parts: 1st: We invite you to be a part of one of kind BBQ that surprises and indulges with the local flavours. We prepare smoked reindeer meat with some extra ingredients (fish, vegetarian and vegan options are available and equally delicious). Dessert is our sweet surprise. 2nd: After great food and a short break we're heading to the best spots nearby (by the bus or snowmobile) to hopefully experience a great show of northern lights. Our guides have many years of experience behind their belt so they will always try and find the best location for aurora display any given evening. The locations mentioned in the list may or may not be visited or changed depending on the weather conditions and guide decisions.

We are proud of the fact that we are fully insured and have all the necessary permits to operate our tours in Abisko National Park, which many of our competitors have simply chosen not to do. All of our evening adventures have a maximum guest to guide ratio of 8:1. This makes the experience much more genuine, and helps us maintain proper social distancing at our locations. Since your adventure includes all transportation, there is not a set time that we have to return back to the hotel, which gives us more flexibility and the ability to stay out later than any other outfitter in Abisko.
