Reviewed By masamio20南阿蘇で宿泊する際は、またお伺いしよう、そう思えるペンションでした。建物は少々年月がたっていますが、とても大切に使われてきた、そう感じられる場所です。例えるならば、大好きなおばあちゃんの家にきたような、そんな感じでしょうか。寒さを心配していましたが、部屋はとても暖かく、心配無用でした。 オーナーご夫妻の暖かさ、そして、美味しいものに目がない私たち家族も満足するレベルの高いお料理、どれをとっても満足のお宿でした。

Stunning Views
Reviewed By janineorMy daughter, granddaughter and I recently stayed 6 nights at this lovely Hotel. We had a large room on the 3rd floor with a good size tatami room and a separate sitting area and small bathroom. The view from our room was beautiful as we could see Mt ASO smoking although our car was covered in ash on 2 mornings. We only ate one meal in the Restaurant as it was a bit too Japanese for our 3year old. The play area on the ground floor was much appreciated. The location was a bit isolated especially for evening meals.

Reviewed By Kati5rIf you want a comfortable affordable place to stay whilst touring bubbly mount Aso and onsens. Come here. The food is included in the price and amazing and the wine is good and reasonably priced too. I've lived in Japan for many years, but I've never tasted such beautifully cooked steak here. Still a little pink in the middle glazed in a gorgeous sauce. It is accompanied with an array of amuse bouches, soup , fish dishes and deserts. Not really Japanese style dining, however the place has an outdoor bath to enjoy with your friends and drink hot sake. Good for a private party. Can't wait until breakfast!

芝生広場の広さが写真でイメージしたのとずいぶん違う
Reviewed By さんきちおしゃれな民宿という感じで、部屋は隣との音がもろに聞こえます。 掃除はきちんとされていたけれど、壁紙などは古い感じ。 換気扇も音が大きいだけで換気はイマイチ。 まぁ、お値段が安いので、それなりというところでしょうか。 写真ではすごく広い草原が広がってそうなのだけど、実際は普通の庭でした。 朝食は美味しかったです。

寝るだけなら充分、韓国に来た気分になれる
Reviewed By tukikotuki韓国系の方が多く、案内版などホテル内殆どハングル表記。もちろん、スタッフも韓国人。最低限の日本語は通じるので寝るだけなら充分です。ＴＶも韓国放送入るので、一瞬どこに来たかわからなくなりました。

Every little amenity costs extra, hot springs close early
Reviewed By Marie HKijin features multiple cabins which can be rented out. The cabins themselves only have showers; if you’d like to use the hot springs also on the property that will cost another ¥200 and the hot springs close at 9pm...so you can’t really take advantage of this if you plan to be out sightseeing most of the day. It also costs extra to use the air conditioner or the heater. There are no toothbrushes which is unusual for Japanese accommodations, but there is shampoo and soap. The sleeping area is located in the cabin loft but it was quite dusty so we were sneezing all night. The final check-in time is very early (you only have a three-hour window to check in) so we had to arrange some of our sightseeing plans just to make sure we could have our place to sleep. It’s very basic and okay if you don’t mind roughing it. The only good part of my stay here was the friendly golden retriever who greeted everyone on the property. He was absolutely precious.
