A gem of a beach for adventurers
Reviewed By CStrivensWe thoroughly enjoyed our time (3 days) at the resort and Patricia and her staff really looked after us well. The beach was absolute heaven and breakfast/dinner sitting under the trees on the beach and under the stars was the highlight of our whole trip to Sri Lanka. We packed in a lot and Patricia was instrumental in organising most of this, Scuba Diving, Yala safari and Katagarama as well as a massage onsite, a choice of western or Sri Lankan cuisine, and an experience in local cookery, really added to our experience. I also loved the raised pool looking out over the Ocean with eagles soring and monkeys as spectators. After a while sand seems to get everywhere and we were frequently sweeping this out of the room, and the resort was clean but does really need a deep clean and refurbishment - but look beyond this because the experience was just superb. Patricia has really good ethics in sustainability and focuses on her staff welfare. A little gem not to be missed.

Perfect place to stay near Yala Safari
Reviewed By Victoria WWonderful welcome by the owner and staff when we arrived. The room was so spacious with a large well-equipped bathroom. The owner, Nuwan, organised a safari for us and our driver was the best, so eagle eyed, spotting everything as he drove along. We had a great evening meal and then joined Nuwan for drinks and chat under the trees by the pool. Lovely stay at a beautiful hotel. Thank you for the hospitality.

Wild Beach
Reviewed By Barbara MWe came here on Spec although we had called in for coffee in previous years. Located on the wonderful wild beach front. The cabanas are not 5 star but have everything you will want for a beach side holiday. The beds are comfortable with good mosquito nets. the showers are good with tepid water. There is a small veranda with seating giving some shade. The open air restaurant is good, serving freshly cooked food to order so be prepared to spend a little time with your sun downer listening to the waves crashing on the shore. The staff are very attentive and anything you want just ask. We will return when this awful virus has been defeated.

Owner drove us for free to several places to show us beautiful nature and other cultural activities. Private beach, good accommodation with amazing food. Totally recommend the place!
