Reviewed By ckm818There aren't that many choices when you travel to Omi-shima. Our family ended up picking this not-too-pricey one. Before we arrived, we prepared ourselves mentally for a youth-hostel-like sleeping bed. Sharing toilets and bathrooms is fine with us. That's it. You simply have to remember bringing your hair conditioner, shampoo and soap. And towel, please. The only mistake is that we forgot to bring our earplugs, and my daughter woke up at least five times in the middle of the night (when the traffic is easily audible). Kabooooom!

The most organized guesthouse I’ve ever stayed
Reviewed By miltonmiltonbnnThis time I stayed in a mixed dormitory after cycling the Shimanami Kaido. I have already stayed at this guest house four times. Many Japanese and Westerners are staying, and there are relatively few Asians outside Japan. It should be noted that the staff here is knowledgeable about Shimanami Kaido and is a cycling specialist. Not only the bed, but also the living room and shower room were very clean, and I felt that the room rate was too low. Located right in front of JR Imabari Station, there are all necessary shops and restaurants nearby. I've never stayed in such a professional guest house so I was very impressed. Travelers planning to ride on the Shimanami Kaido should stay overnight.

Our facility has Hotel, Cafe, Travel Agency, Cyclist Taxi, Boat Taxi. 3 types of Rooms. 1) Cottage All rooms have sea-view with deck, toilet, shower, air condition and 3 bicycle hangers. There is an option of BBQ and breakfast. 2) Geodesic Dome Tent is with air conditions and furnitures. 3) Dormitory Cheap accommodation with bed in shared room.
Perfect Shimanami Kaido midway rest
Reviewed By gavinpinkneyFrom the moment I contacted Wakka, they were attentive and knowledgeable. We cycled the Shimanami Kaido as a group of 4 and rented the a 4 person dorm for one night. It was spacious and clean. The property is beautiful and modern, with a cafe/community space that looks onto the sea. The staff were the best part of Wakka. I was in contact with them before and during the cycle, they had recommendations for best bus routes to start on the Imabari side and even offered to arrange a taxi. I got a flat tyre on my rental bicycle and Wakka drove to meet me within minutes with a pump after contacting them to get me back on my way. I can’t recommend this place enough.

Reviewed By Hiroshi205「１の１」の教室に泊まりました（笑）。 外観は本当に昔の小学校のまま、教室前の廊下も板張りでそのままです。 「教室」に入ると中はきれいにリノベーションされ、洗面も部屋風呂も高級ホテルを思わせます。ラグも敷いてあるので、床座りもできてくつろげます。 食事も魚介がふんだんにあって、とても美味しくいただけました。アルコールもリーズナブルな価格で楽しめます。 お風呂は別棟にもありますが、海を一望できます。 目の前の海はプライベートビーチ感があり、季節的に他のお客様がいなかったので、ひとり占めできました。 とてもよい休日を過ごせました。

Great place!
Reviewed By WillncukStayed here for one night whilst cycling the shimanami kaido. Very new place, situated about halfway along the route. Facilities are excellent and spotless. Can store your bike in your room or in a locked garage outside. Has a cafe serving a la carte options throughout the day and a breakfast buffet with Japanese and Western options. Staff very nice, front of house in particular spoke very good English and was lovely. Recommended an onion soy flavour energy bar which was surprisingly nice! Other reviews have complained about the curtains on the rooms. We didn't find it a problem at all and loved the rooms. Ear plugs are also provided. All in all we thought it was great and would definitely stay again!

We are couple at age 60's who returned from Tokyo to Oshima island. 40 years old house has been renovated by DIY on 2017 and started to run guesthouse for cyclist and travelers on Dec.10,2017.Two guest room has air-conditioning.
