In March 2019, the name was changed from International Golf Resort to Satsuma Golf Resort and Satsuma Resort Hotel. There are various sports facilities for golf and accommodation, soccer, rugby and tennis. There are also 5 meeting rooms that can be used for meetings. In November 2019, half of the guest rooms were renewed. The rooms show wonderful mountains, good air and a relaxing environment. It is a resort that can be used only for sports, meetings and lodging!

Reviewed By jaqu1324We chose this hotel because it has the best review within Kagoshima and we booked the best room in the hotel. Unfortunately, the room was average in decor, amenities and cleanliness. Fortunate that our room was on ground floor. If not, we have to take the stairs as there's no elevator. Hotel itself was small and somehow recently renovated. Restaurant was good with good food, Japanese cross over western. Staff were nice and can speak English. Our pocket wifi didn't work at all as it was out of mobile signal range. Overall an average hotel but probably one of the best within the Kagoshima region.

Came here for the baths
Reviewed By BorneanOur host recommended we experience a hot bath in Shibi Onsen. We met the owner of Shibisou, and paid ¥300 each, which included a towel. There's a coin locker in the bathroom. The outdoor bath was very nice, water wasn't that warm, compared to the indoor baths. We found the effect of the alkaline water to be beneficial. Tl This is an old place, and one shouldn't expect the standard of a 5-star hotel.

日帰り温泉を利用
Reviewed By eiseika前回くすのき荘に宿泊するも温泉は最高だが、宿としては満足できなかったので、日帰り温泉として利用。ここの温泉の良いところは小さいながらも露天があることで、ぬるめの湯で長時間入浴できる。日帰り入浴は１２時から４時ぐらいまで。それ以降は宿泊者のみ。１２時には開場を待つリピーターの鹿児島県人が何組もいた。皆口を揃えて、肌にも体にもよい最高の湯と話す。アルカリで無色透明だが硫黄臭もする。硫黄の温泉が好きで、吹上温泉みどり荘、霧島温泉、紫尾温泉どの湯も甲乙つけがたいほどよい。入浴後は肌がすべすべ。ペットボトルに汲んで持ち帰り、化粧水代わりに使用している。温泉の中で話した鹿児島の方に湯田温泉手塚旅館の湯もいいよと言われ、来年もまた鹿児島県にいくぞと決意した。

国内最高レベル？ツルツルになる湯！！
Reviewed By mayoihitoGW大雨の日に温泉巡りをしていて、他の温泉で合った地元の方に、おすすめされて行きました?ちょうどお昼ごはんの時間だったせいか、大雨の影響もあるのか、他にお客さんがおらず、一人でのんびり入れました。日帰り入浴めっちゃ安い。そして、噂通りのとろっとろのお湯！！とろとろ過ぎて、風呂場で転けないよう気をつけないといけないほどです。肌が弱い方なのですが、ピリピリすることもなく、ツルツルになりました。風呂は5～6人用っぽい岩風呂で、雨でなければ外に小さなお風呂がもう一つ。ぬる湯好きな私にはちょっと熱めの湯でした。
