Wonderful hospitality in a beautiful setting
Reviewed By Deborah EMy cousins and a friend spent several days at this delightful hotel in November 2015. The hotel owners, Brit and Marcus are incredible hoteliers. They make guests feel so welcome and they also have a wonderful restaurant on sight. The setting for the hotel is quaint and located close to many smaller towns and other restaurants. The rooms are well equipped and the windows actually open if you like fresh air as we did!! The hotel is quiet and clean and the beds were comfortable. While we were there for the Christmas market season, I'm sure this hotel would be a delight no matter the time of year.

Reviewed By Ralf HAls Familie, wandernd auf dem Kammweg, wurden wir liebevoll aufgenomnen, trotz der schwierigen Situation aufgrund fehlender Arbeits- (Fach) kräfte. Hoffentlich ändert sich etwas, ansonsten werden viele der Unterkünfte in Zukunft schließen müssen.

Reviewed By Johannes_MR_ATZum zweiten Mal habe ich mich für den Windmühlenhof entschieden, da mir das Angebot sehr zusagt. Saubere Zimmer in ruhiger Lage und dennoch vernünftige Verkehrsanbindung. Das Frühstück war stets vielfältig, ausreichend und wird nach Verfügbarkeit mit hauseigenen Schmankerln ergänzt. Im Gemeinschaftsraum ist ausreichend Platz, um seinen administrativen Arbeiten nachzukommen, aber selbstverständlich auch in der Freizeit zu entspannen - der Wellnessbereich bietet zusätzliche Annehmlichkeiten.

In Olbernhau der Geheimtipp
Reviewed By marieausberlinEtwas abgelegen vom Zentrum ( ca. 10 min mit dem Auto ) liegt diese nette, kleine Pension direkt am Waldrand . Das Zimmer war einfach ausgestattet , mit sehr guter Matratze , großem Fernseher und angenehmer Beleuchtung, das Bad neu , modern und sauber . Das Personal war überaus freundlich , das Frühstück war im Preis inbegriffen und sehr gut, reichhaltig und Kaffee wurde nachgeschenkt . Der Gastraum war mit Kamin sehr gemütlich, dekoriert zu Weihnachten mit erzgebirgischer Handwerkskunst , Sehr zu empfehlen

A Favourite Hotel, but this visit ?????
Reviewed By Andy WWe have always enjoyed staying at this hotel when in the area, but this trip even though we booked ahead we felt we were a burden. They even sent the cook home and when we asked about dinner we felt we were putting the owners off as they wanted us to go somewhere else to eat. Breakfast wasn't much better. The rooms are nice and clean but having stayed at another place in town years ago I will think twice about visiting this hotel again.

Quiet relaxing rural setting
Reviewed By Bungendore-BobLovely view on hill above Olbernhau. Weak internet (we ended up using our own) but the food was exquisite and well worth a detour. The owners were very helpful and did their best to communicate in English. Beds were comfortable and rooms clean and adequate (with a small fridge but no tea making facilities). We would certainly come again.

Bad experience
Reviewed By Mara MI booked the room on booking and when I arrived in front of the house nobody was there. I called the number and they told me to wait. After 40 minutes I received a call from booking. The reservation was cancelled. This was a big problem for us because we were travelling by bike and the other structures were fully booked.

Reviewed By SchubidubiduDas Hotel war echt super. Wir haben uns pudelwohl gefühlt. Der Selbst-Check-In bei später Anreise hat super funktioniert. Das Zimmer war total gemütlich und das Frühstück war sehr lecker! Auf alle Wünsche wurde eingegangen. Danke nochmal an Frau F., die herzliche Seele des Hauses. Wir kommen sicher nochmal wieder!
