Reviewed By biwakocatDecent value for a large, spacious room with lanai overlooking the beach and ocean. Perfect for evening walks or a morning jog. Onsen bath is also spacious and relaxing and there is a proper hot sauna room, too. Japanese breakfast is voluminous and the people of Hagi and the staff are friendly countryside folks. Best if you have a car, but if not, just a short taxi ride from the station.

Reviewed By Experience810565設備とサービスは国民宿舎並かも知れませんが、食事が良かったのと、温泉が２４時間いつでも入浴可なのが良かった※但し、夜中にお風呂でトラブルがあった場合のレスキューが有るのか無いのか解りませんが。 宿泊料金も｢遠方のお客様特別料金｣で安く、コスパが良かったのと、海の見える施設だったので4ッ星に。 ゴージャスさとかは無縁の４ツ星です。

Reviewed By G HUpon arrival, a lady with good English greeted us and showed us around the hotel, and inform us about the dinner and onsen arrangement. Besides her, none of the staff can speak English and all the signs are in Japanese only. Therefore, it is good to have her to explain everything. The room is spacious, and the rocking chair near the TV is a plus. No wifi in the room, only available in lobby area. There are two public baths, one facing west and one facing north. The view from the bath facing west during sunset is great. Booked the private onsen, they offered discount for overnight guest, only 2100 yen per 45 mins. Good if you are travelling as a couple or family. Dinner and breakfast are served in the private dining room. However, the taste is just ok. They have a restaurant that served lunch and dinner if your stay plan does not include meals. Motonosumiinari Shrine, voted by CNN as "Japan’s 31 most beautiful places" is about 20 mins by car, and the hotel offers free shuttle to there at 4pm. After checking out, we drove to Motonosumiinari Shrine but got on a wrong road and the rental car was struck. Luckily we were only a few minutes drive from the hotel. We called the hotel for help, the lady and one more staff drove to pick us up and bring us back to hotel. She helped us to call the rental car company and a tow truck came an hour later and saved the day. Good that we were waiting in the hotel, had lunch while waiting to tow truck to arrive, and not standing in the middle of nowhere. A big thanks to the lady and her staffs.

Reviewed By tatt_sun_2土日で、用事で、山口まで来ました。 このホテルは、かなり前の建築で、ちょこっと古め、当然、ドアはオートロックじゃない。 ゴルフ場に併設なんで、ゴルファーも多いはずだが、この時期は、宴会で、温泉まで、いっぱい。 温泉は岩風呂で、しゃれている。
