This museum complex is located about 55 km from downtown Chengdu and is well worth the trip. This museum contains displays from a civilisation that little is known about. The artifacts were locally discovered and are very impressive and show great artisanship. Not far from the museum you can visit the pits where the artifacts were found. The museum wasn't crowded as the foreign tourist season. (me) hasn't started yet. I was taken here by my colleagues after showing them a mask that I had seen in the Chengdu museum - otherwise I would likely never have made the long trip. Enjoy!!

This park is next to Guanghan hotel and Red Fort Indian cultural restaurant , living at Guanghan from last 2 month and running every morning at Fanghu park , you will find lot of different group some traditional dance , some Chinese taizhili(Kung -fu ) some running lot of activities in the morning , I really enjoy
Watching Dance in the morning to fresh up at this park and best place to photography !

It takes approximately 25min with taxi from Shangri La hotel to the Panda Park. The best is to go as early as possible. The park opens at 07:30 (closes at 18:00), no queue to buy your ticket, less people and very active panda’s.
They are very cute but also very lazy. All the pandas have very clean and spacious outside areas.
Don’t forget to go to see the red panda’s as well they don’t have the same cute factor, but they are beautiful as well!
Park is well maintained, clean and smoke free :)
The entrance price is 58 RMB
When leaving the park be aware of the taxi ‘cheaters’. Ensure before entering they using the taximeter!!!

There are some nice places, but honestly I had some other expectations for an 'ancient town'. At least the smoked duck was very tasty.
