Reviewed By Travel816801I stayed couple of days and will not select the hotel for its rates are very high for an average business traveler. Menu, Laundry is very high compared to similar level hotels. Not enough trained staff to work. rooms are neglected and some of the lights fused and not checked or replaced before giving the room. Noone checked whether there were enough facilities or offered wifi or extension codes to work as the staff may have noticed me walking with the laptop bag. No instinct actions or offers. the manager seems to be incapable and did not have any courtesy to call and find out anything wrong. Once complained a plate of french fries was sent only. I have been there before many times and now see the neglected hotel. At night the cockroaches start their explorations , which we don't like. table and chairs are highly uncomfortable. No additional plug bases for a current traveler

The rooms are big and clean, you have a nice pool to swim and relax after a Hit sightseeing day. The friendly owner helped us for every issues, we had, and also the restaurant is recommendable. Reviewed By Imalka_hEKHO Lake House easily goes down as one of the most amazing properties I’ve visited in Sri Lanka. Never knew Polonnaruwa had so much to offer in terms of accommodation as a luxury boutique property. EKHO Lake House nailed every aspect. The food was on point and not a single dish missed the mark in terms of flavor and presentation. Special mention must be made of the calamari and mutton rice and the Sri Lankan breakfast. We had one of the most relaxing stays ever as the property itself borders the Parakrama Samudraya. The evening boat ride at sunset organized by EKHO Lake House was one of the best experiences we’ve had during our travels around Sri Lanka. The staff service standards were very high and every request was catered to. The manager Udesh and his staff were excellent, extremely well mannered and went above and beyond to ensure that we enjoyed our stay.

Reviewed By D5638VJ_This place is amazing! We have been resting here for one night, and the hotel left a positive impression! Rooms are clean and cozy, with a good view! Staff is very polite and friendly, they want you to be in a good mood all the time. The swimming pool has been cleaned three times since we were there, so it’s pure! We had breakfast, lunch and dinner here, and I have to say, that it is tasty, they tried to cook more European food and we appreciate it??? Это действительно очень хороший отель! Мы оставили частичку себя на стене) We left some words on the wall!
