Reviewed By WhoisJohnGaultAschenberg was an ideal stop while travelling north, so booked a room and dinner at Jagdschlosschen. We're normally travelling with our little dog and it was no problem having him with us in the room and restaurant. Dinner was a multi-course pleasure, and the wine list offered a great selection. Breakfast was a good variety and a lot of fresh options. It was in the 30's while we were visiting, so having AC was great for a good nigh's rest. I would not fault a thing. The staff were also very friendly and helpful. Hoping we can stay when we're passing through this area later in the summer.

Reviewed By daveX6339DSLooked for hotels close to the motorway, found this one right here on trip advisor in the nice village of Davensberg. We had booked the smallest room with three beds but got an upgrade, free of charge, to their “apartment”! We each got one big bedroom with a double bed, a projector with playstation, a wireless bose speaker and best of all a fussball-table! The surroundings are nice, I can recommend taking a stroll around the area and say hello to the local mule-donkeys.

Nice stay-over
Reviewed By danishtraveller42Family flat This gasthaus easily accomodates 4 people. It is equipped with everything you need. It is a very nice flat on the top floor of a house in the middle of a residencial area. It is located about 500 meters away from the officiel address. The breakfast (brunch) is really, really good. Everything your heart desires. Only negative thing was that breakfast didn’t start until 9 o’clock.
