Fish Hoek (Afrikaans: Vishoek, meaning either Fish Corner or Fish Glen) is a coastal town at the eastern end of the Fish Hoek Valley on the False Bay side of the Cape Peninsula in Cape Town, South Africa. Previously a separate municipality, Fish Hoek is now part of the City of Cape Town. As a coastal suburb of Cape Town, Fish Hoek is popular as a residence for commuters, retired people and holidaymakers alike. The traditional industries of 'trek' fishing and angling coexist with the leisure pursuits of surfing, sailing and sunbathing.

Two of us rented bikes from Mark for a ride around the beautiful Cape Town in November 2017.
With Chapmans Peak Drive closed and a forest fire from the night before still raging, Mark very helpfully plotted an alternative route on a map for us.
The bikes were good - all accessories were included (i had a lot of time for the frozen bottle of water).
I would definitely recommend using Cycle the Cape if you are planning a ride in Cape Town. If i am ever back in town, i will be doing it again!

We had passed through on our way elsewhere, but stopped coming back for something to eat and decided to take an after lunch stroll around the hillside. It was quite windy while we were there, but this didn't change the lovely setting and great views we all took in.

This was our first trip to South Africa and Ronel Cooper Tours were recommended by a friend and we are really glad that we took their advice.
Ronel is a very likeable and knowledgable guide. We did three tours in all, a city tour which included the District Six Museum (recommended if you want a history lesson on apartheid) a cable car trip to Table mountain magnificent views. Our next trip was the wine tour and tasting with lunch included and our last was a one day safari to Inverdoorn Safari Park a long drive to get there but well worth the effort. All of these trips were organises by Ronel collected from the hotel in a Mercedes for the City Tour and Wine Tour and a small minibus for the Safari.
Ronels knowledge and flexibility made everything perfect and we cannot wait to go back, so much more to see.
