We decided to hike to the waterfall and trekked up the trail to the hut. My wife wasn’t feeling great so she stopped there. Two friends and I thought the waterfall was farther up the trail and headed up the (steep!) mountain. I was the old guy mumbling “I think I can, I think I can.” After about 45 minutes I asked a hiker how much farther the waterfall was. He smiled and noted it was way down the trail. Back down I carefully schlepped. The trail to the hut is wide and well cared for. It’s a nice 45 hike there and 45 minutes back to your car. Especially on a sunny day.
